Daily Inspiration: Meet Caroline Pinal

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caroline Pinal.

Hi Caroline, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The simple answer is that I just followed one gut instinct after another, seeing risks as opportunities and accepting whatever the outcome might bring. Leaving the more traditional corporate path, my best friend and business partner Blake Andrews created Giveback Homes together, a social impact company that works with real estate leaders who want to help families in need with safe homes. It started with the goal of building one home and now we’ve built hundreds, thanks to our incredible community of Giveback Homes supporters.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When you’re building something good it always comes with a unique set of challenges, waves of doubt, and moments of exhaustion. But I’ve also earned the gift of perspective and it’s always in my ear whispering, “It’s worth it. Dig deeper. Keep going.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Giveback Homes partners with the real estate industry to donate and volunteer towards important causes: safe homes, warm meals, and access to clean water. We create impactful giving experiences through volunteer events, fundraising events, and Build Trips where we invite our community to travel with us and build homes for families in need. These trips are really what changed my trajectory, so it makes me happy and super proud that we’ve been able to give that same opportunity to hundreds of people around the world.
