Life & Work with Juan De La Rosa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Juan De La Rosa.

Hi Juan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Well, I was born and raised in Bellflower, CA. Small town and great people. I’m an actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director, which basically means an artist. I always lived in La but I never appreciated LA, there so much out to explore it’s crazy. Once I started my career at the Theatre of Arts acting school, I started to discover La with friends and it’s amazing.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not smooth. You have so many problems like family, money, friends, and relationship you name it. But La is a melting pot with good people who will help. Just have to have a lot of confidence.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an actor, but I love to say I’m an entertainer. I like to host, create shorts, anything that will make people laugh and have a good distraction from life.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Get used to people saying no, and get a tough skin about how life and work really gets to you. And learn to take care of yourself.
