Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenniffer Moore.
Jenniffer, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
When I gave birth to my first daughter, I didn’t take a childbirth class and listened to friends on how I should give birth. I happened to watch a documentary and it opened my eyes to a whole new world. I learned what a doula was and that woman still birth at home with midwives. At the time, I worked at a Mortuary as a funeral attendant going on 7 years. I quit to pursue my career as a Doula and also became fascinated with placenta encapsulation. I chose to do extra training with an organization called stillbirthday. I serve families in every kind of birth, in any trimester.
Has it been a smooth road?
Learning to work long hours on call was a hurdle but what an honor to be in the room with a family in the most life hanging experience of their lives. There is a euphoria that fills the room and makes it all worth it.

As a birth doula, I am there to serve, whether that be emotional support, physical support (just a massage), education (showing you options, evidence based information and/or tools). I am there for whatever the family needs with no judgement or pressured beliefs. As a placenta encapsulator, I provide the service of converting your own placenta into capsules which is believed to benefit you in many ways.
I also offer smoothies, placenta chocolate truffles, tinctures and salve to name a few.
I also offer placenta jewelry as keepsakes. Vaginal steaming and belly binding are also available.

I love how our city is open minded and doulas and encapsulation are becoming more accepted.
