Hi Sandy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
After several years of aggressively plucking my eyebrows, I found myself sporting a disastrously bare forehead.
I found myself constantly touching up my eyebrows and spending too much time in the morning trying to get them on right, there had to be a better way.
And then I found microblading… OMG, it truly was a life-changing experience for me. I honestly felt free, I could swim, go to the gym, spend a day outside without wondering if my eyebrows we still on. What a miracle!! I wanted to share this with others and so began my journey into the world of permanent makeup.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One thing people don’t know about Permanent Makeup is that it is not an easy skill to master. It takes years of literal blood, sweat and tears to be good and I know that as a perfectionist I still am my own biggest critic.

I don’t know if this is surprising or not but I have to constantly remind myself to look people in the eyes and not in the brows! LOL!
Also… the name “Lily The Pink” is from an old Irish ditty about a woman named Lydia Pinkham who concocted a magical elixir that made everyone’s problems disappear.
I thought that it would be a great name for a permanent makeup studio that strives to help people feel beautiful and confident and solves their beauty dilemmas.
