Daily Inspiration: Meet Alisha Collins

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alisha Collins.

Alisha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a digital creator hailing from Western New York, who got my start working with fashion and beauty tycoons in L.A. Working in the fashion industry has taught me so much about the fast-paced world and the mindset needed to be successful in it. From creative story-telling to campaign launches, working in digital advertising has been extremely rewarding.

I got my first major client from LA. Persistent on joining the team, I was asked if I knew how to do motion graphics. At the time I had never done them before. But my response was “Yes I do” because I knew that I could and would finesse it until I became great at it. Since then I’ve been doing motion graphics ever since and I never make excuses about not knowing how to do anything. I’m a Femme Finesse.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of my greatest challenges was maintaining a busy client list while delivering quick and great quality content with no one on my team but me. By the grace of God, I have been able to maintain it on my own, but I do expect to expand very soon.

I am a digital creative, offering services such as branding, social media strategy and design, email marketing, and creative advertising.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my childhood memories is discovering the Paint program on my gateway computer and creating some of the dopest art with just using the pen tool. I challenged myself to recreate logos like Snickers and Twix and was super excited to see that I executed it perfectly!
