Life & Work with Airon Mallars

Today we’d like to introduce you to Airon Mallars.

Hi Airon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I moved to Los Angeles two years ago to pursue music but had to completely switch gears when the pandemic hit. I moved to Los Angeles the October before Covid. Music wasn’t making me money at the time and I had lost all three of my jobs. I went with modeling because a lot of my friends thought I should pursue it. Never in my life had I even thought about modeling or acting, But here I am a year and a half later doing it full time. It was a big change for me, but it’s been such an incredible experience. I’ve traveled all around the US And shot with some of the best photographers in Los Angeles. I’ve been in a featured film, I’ve traveled to Mexico for shoots, shooting in Paris this spring and plan to be doing a lot more shooting and traveling come this new year of 2022. Couldn’t be more excited!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
At first, it was a struggle. I was working a full-time job 40 hours a week, shooting 4-6 times a week and managing all my social media. It was very overwhelming to say the least. But was such a relief when I was able to quit my 9-5 and model/act full time! Hard work always pays off, stay focused and always have an open mind.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a full-time model and actor, but also an entrepreneur. I’m definitely more known for modeling. Entrepreneur came in later in my career as a model. I have many streams of income but am always looking at ways to make more. I love learning from the people around me and can’t wait to grow even more! I would say I’m most proud of building myself as a brand, I launched my own jewelry line a few months back and it’s done very well. I plan on really growing that this coming year 2022. And I would have to say I’m most proud of my following that I’ve grown this past year and a half, it’s really helped me establish myself As a brand and I’ve some really incredible people that support me.

What matters most to you?
My family is very important to me. I’m originally from Oregon, most of my family is there, but I always make an appoint to go and visit them every other month or so! I’ve always got a beautiful baby girl that’s 1.5 months old, she lives in Texas with her mom. I visit her every month as well. 🙂 Family will always be there for you, family is most important 100%.
