Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiki Love.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always been a lover of nature and creativity. And wow, well to me the two arenas in the same thing. Since I was a child, this has been my way. But as far as my business goes, it all started when I was 34 years old. I was honestly a little lost, doing odd jobs here and there as I have many interests. But then I had a sudden mini stroke, well five of them actually and I almost died. The doctors were amazing and my life was saved. And in my healing, I took a class with a dear friend of mine where we learned many things, but the last day of class we made leather beaded medicine bags. Traditional Native American style as she learned from her teacher. I got hooked here. The beading was so meditative, and I loved working with the soft leather and natural materials. So for a few weeks, I sat and sat and sat and beaded and beaded and beaded. The medicine bags started getting smaller and smaller and smaller. They healed me, the meditative nature of this practice healed me. And in my healing the mini protection pouches were born. I feel they are a gift from the gods, in my healing, they provide healing for others. People have said they can feel their power and that they have helped them in trying times, these mini pouches are a being on their own, and they have their own mission. I am just here happy to be of service and contribute a little token of healing and protection for the people of the world. It has been for six years now that the minis have found their way all over the world. I go where they take me.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has been mostly smooth, yes. My struggle is the business aspect of it, like bookkeeping and taxes. Not my favorite. But everyone that I have worked with has been nothing but a delight.
As you know, we’re big fans of Infinite Love Designs. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I specialize in crafting with natural materials, keeping my brand sustainable at all costs. I have taken all the skills I have learned over the years and made something that I call mini protection pouches, which have a life of their own. I also make earrings and bracelets. I love making things with my hands and natural materials. I am devoted to the earth and her people, helping to keep her and her people happy and healthy, so all my creations come from her, and are eco-friendly, made with love. All my creations are one of a kind and I do custom orders. I have had the honor of collaborating with big names like Free People and ABC Carpet and Home. I feel infinitely blessed and grateful!
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
