Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathalie Nesh. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Nathalie Nesh is a Swedish/Peruvian Singer, Songwriter, Vocal Coach and Curve Model. As a Confidence Activist, she promotes self-love and healing through her music and Modeling Career. Breaking the mold of Society’s expectations. Nathalie is a Bold artist that has lived in different countries and experienced many things starting at a young age. Growing up in Spain, constantly visiting Peru (her dads country) Sweden and then living in the United States for many years gave her a very broad perspective of the world, her Purpose is to Lead through example, and bring awareness to mental health, inspire positivity and compassion. As an artist, she has performed in many stages, had her own Band in South Florida and worked with different artists and producers throughout the years. “I am a one woman show, I am a vocal producer, a background singer, lead singer… Coach, I wear many hats” Also, a Year ago, she felt the calling to represent Curvy Women starting her modeling career which has been developing quickly. Nathalie has collaborated with Brands like Shein, BloomChic, CurvySense and diverse Amazon Brands as well as local LA Brands like Byrka, all catering to Curvy Women. “I never saw myself as a model, but after seeing Ashley Graham’s Ted Talk, I felt I also wanted to make an impact on Women’s self-esteem, and a year later here I am, living in L.A making this dream a reality”.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Believing in yourself and in your dreams is never a smooth road… I have enough stories to write a book! 🙂 from many rejections, starting from 0 in different countries, keeping the faith in artistry even when finances were low. As artists, we are constantly challenged to believe that we need a “secure job” that we need to forget about our “stupid dream” but artists change the world, influence the world and if it wasn’t for art we would become robots very detached from our feelings. I’ve gone through a ton of struggles but everything has always worked out in the end somehow, and doors that I never imagined would open for me did open for me. I believe once we have made a decision, are determined, confident yet humble there is nothing that we cannot achieve.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I write songs, I am a performer, I sing and help others learn how to sing. I have been a Vocal Coach for more than 13 years. I teach “psychology of Singing” which teaches students to heal their blockages and opening up their voices by understanding what their fears are and how to release them, I teach them how to correct their mindset and body language so that they don’t self-sabotage themselves. My singing classes are somewhat of a Life Coaching Experience that can be applied to many areas in life. I also am a Curve Model that creates content, always promoting self-esteem and speaking up and sharing truths for the people who struggle. I am a Love Advocate that goes against Bullying, Racism and any kind of discrimination.
What’s next?
I am planning to keep learning and growing all of my ventures, with the intention of giving back to communities that need to be uplifted and supported, Making a positive impact through Music, Fashion and Motivational speaking.
