Thanks for sharing your story with us Gale. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
After coming into the knowledge and full understanding of my God-Given Gift, I then realized I was blessed with a gift that I can share with the world. I remember as a young teenager while growing into my young adult hood, I would always provide short Therapeutic Massage Treatments to love ones, family and friends. After they would receive it, they’d always feel better and encourage me to pursue this as a professional career because they recognized I have a gift. But me not really taking it very serious because I was young working in the corporate field for several years as an Administrative and Office Assistant thinking that I was happy when in actuality I wasn’t meaning, I knew I wasn’t walking in my true calling, purpose, destiny and passion I had gotten too complacent. I worked in the corporate field providing customer service and reception work also and while working there, I survived many layoffs however, there were some I was affected by. Anyone that knows about the corporate field knows that many layoffs transpire and many budget cuts happen as well. After experiencing several layoffs and layoff notices, I began to really think about the gift of my hands, a change of direction and all the encouraging words I’d received from those who’d experienced the power of touch. After pondering on it for a few days, I said to myself: no more procrastination, and no more excuses. I then went to school to receive the education, skill and technique I knew would work well together with my gift. I finished my schooling went out into the industry for several years and thereafter, I decided to branch out on my own as an Independent Contractor. I begin working at a few Chiropractic Offices assisting Chiropractors and Physical Therapist Doctors and Acupuncturists.
After assisting for a while, I always dreamed of opening my own Practice but not knowing how I would ever do it. I just trusted and believed by Faith my Dreams would someday come in to Reality. Then one day the opportunity presented itself and I knew I had to overcome my fears by making the JUMP. I took that leap of Faith and launched out in to the deep and before I knew it, there I was, flying in a parachute believing to accomplish the Jump I’d made. I am very honored, humbled, thankful and grateful to now have my very own Practice and Establishment. It came with great sacrifice, hard work, commitment, dedication, application, tireless days and nights. But because I stayed focused, I never gave up, I kept believing and dreaming, after crying many days and nights; I can now testify that it will all pay off; if you don’t quite and never give up. I have received many wonderful testimonials about people experiencing their healing. It’s very rewarding to hear them and it fills my heart with great joy. I can now say that I am walking in my true calling, purpose, destiny and passion. I love helping people in any way that I can. I love to make a positive impact and difference in the lives of others and I love to help others with their health, healing and wellness needs.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No it hasn’t been a smooth road, but I took each struggle and turned it in to motivation. I had to fight through a lot of rejection. Many didn’t believe in my vision, it didn’t stop me but rather; it pushed me to keep pursuing my purpose and passion. I didn’t have the kind of support I thought I could and would have. I had to work extra hard to ensure great success. There’s a lot that I had to do all by myself which was very challenging.
Making the investment in to my own dreams and vision, came with great sacrifice. Giving up much of what I had in order to achieve and succeed was very challenging. It was my Faith, Motivation, Determination, Dedication and Perseverance that helped me along my journey and road to success and I’m still traveling along my every day journey. It never stops, I just keep on going.
