The ambiance is incredible – twinkling lights, a cozy set of tables and a natural, rustic, diamond in the rough feel. It definitely lives up to the most romantic restaurant in LA hype.

4. Swing Dancing at the Cicada Club
You will feel like you’ve stepped back into a bygone time – 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s music playing, the original 1920s interior mostly intact, your fellow patrons dressed in classy vintage fashion – it’s truly an experience. The food can be underwhelming, but the ambiance, the live show and overall experience are hard to beat.
5. Vintage Bowling at the Spare Room
Such a fun place – a couple of bowling lanes, board games, great drinks and a trendy bar all wrapped into one. It’s inside the Roosevelt Hotel and is sure to be a blast.

Yamashiro means Mountain Palace – and true to its name the restaurant is a palace that sites 250 feet above Hollywood Boulevard built by the Bernheimer brothers in 1911 to house their Asian art collection. Hundreds of craftsmen were came from Asia to create a replica of a palace in the Yamashiro province of Japan. The restaurant and bar are excellent.
