Conversations with Alysha Alexandra Ault

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alysha Alexandra Ault.

Hi Alysha Alexandra, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been doing hair for about 11 years and graduated Paul Mitchell. I then went on to Sally Hershberger to assist and had the best experience learning and getting to learn all the trendiest fads and styles. From there, I branched out back to the valley and opened up my own little salon suite and started from the bottom with no one as a client besides my dad and my Uncle John, they’ve been there since day one! They are my day one clients!

After about six and a half years, I have built my entire clientele from Groupons to Ads in magazines, to newsletters to 50,000 houses in my surrounding areas to Now opening up my very own Salon on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills, where I have 8 Stylists and Estheticians and Lash Extension Artists! None of this would have been possible without my husband Ryan by my side, we built this salon from the ground up and put our blood, sweat and tears into every ounce of the salon and it shows and couldn’t be prouder! I have been bullied and made fun of for years for running groupons, but look where I am today! Now I can’t keep my doors closed and always have a waitlist and I am so grateful! I have a Big Salon with amazing girls and guys as artists! We opened up October 15, 2019 and I was very lucky and fortunate to have survived the pandemic and keep my salon afloat! Before Covid Hit, I wanted to do a big grand opening and have a ribbon cutting with the Mayor of LA, but never got to because then everything shut down. Now I can’t wait to celebrate with my team that took me a year to build, and we could not be HAPPIER! I learned that the sky is the limit and to never stop the hustle!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Covid-19 was not easy but we made it through!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am known for my Color Specialty’s and Color Transformations, And Balayage Techniques! As well as my vavavoom Blowdrys! My Blowouts last women 7-10 days with no dry shampoo and I am very proud of that!

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Getting all glammed up and doing my makeup and hair for dance performances and performing on the stage!
