Inspiring Conversations with Phyouture Hart of DxP Entertainment Network

Today we’d like to introduce you to Phyouture Hart.

Hi Phyouture, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It all started about 12 years ago when my brother first introduced me to Memphis Jookin, a style of dance that evolved from styles like Gangsta Walking, Buckin, Ticking, Etc. It has been in the culture of Memphis for more than 30 years, it’s a part of the music and the lifestyle of the city. My brother was so obsessed with the style he’d be so hype showing me Jookin videos back to back to back but with me being so young, I didn’t understand the style well. He began teaching me moves and even though I wanted to learn, I still didn’t quite understand. Jookin is a difficult style to grasp so I always was upset or frustrated about not being able to get the moves down. You could say my brother MADE ME Jook. It wasn’t until he took me to one of the Memphis Jookin sessions that I knew Jookin was a style I had to learn. My neighbors were also learning the style around the same time so we met up all the time and practiced together. The more I practiced and came around the better I got. It wasn’t long until I was battling OG’s and Veterans at the Jookin style. Over the years, I had stamped my name in the Memphis Jookin culture and Urban Dance Community.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been rocky but I always maintain. Being trusting and vulnerable has been the biggest challenge.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Our enterprise is a virtual dance attraction created by Memphians for the world of content we present. Our focus is fitness, freestyle and choreo related entertainment and education. We aim to open up channels to market businesses EVERYWHERE that we have supporters and customers while rebranding our street dance culture as a respectable online business ecosystem. We have done what we can to create support for artists in our industry through an online university style programming as an explorable platform that we market on our dollar at DxPEntertainmentNetwork.com. There are several people involved in educational content creation for modern fitness program seekers i.e., Lil Buck, Tanner Witt (LA), Diamond Crew (Canada) and more. We started everything off with Jookin University, a series of live classes and video libraries that potentially certifies each enrollee through objective-based paid affiliate marketing goals.

In addition, we have teamed up with the former “The Dream Team” of 901 Memphis Jookin on Instagram to create DXP901.com (also 901ENT.Online) Live Stream Events, Brand Apparel, and Dance Education. This is the local flagship station that we have high hopes for to become a global household name, focusing on local comedy, music, dance and fitness with content subscription access. We have Live PPV events year round for the fans of the world. DXP901 teamed up with Lil Buck to create a $5K super battle, The Young Legend Money Title in July 2021. To combine our efforts for both networks, DXP901 is the place to purchase a Jookin University outfit and receive special offers to enroll for a much lower price at dxp901.com/drip.

How do you think about luck?
I wouldn’t say luck but I would say that all that has happened was meant to happen. I don’t be believe anything is by chance. Everyone has their own fate. Never experiencing the feeling of being a victim circumstance seemingly caused me to have an advantage in business and life in general. From my parents, their parents, everything before them and after is what I’d consider the role luck has played in my life.
