Meet Karma The Artist of Treble Girl Ent. in Burbank

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karma The Artist.

Karma, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am a professional singer/songwriter and producer from Los Angeles, CA. With years of experience touring, traveling and recording all around the globe as a vocalist and entertainer, I consider myself a well-rounded artist. I got my start in the business writing Gospel and R&B music for others while touring on the weekends. Earning my degree from The Los Angeles Recording School was a huge mark in my career and allowed me to work in major studios as an engineer before launching my first company Treble Girl Studios.

My most recent work includes opening for the Joyner Lucas Tour, featured performer for BET Weekend, lead vocalist for Carnival Cruise Line and performing live for the Tammi Mac Show on the Fox Soul network. Over the years, I have also built a strong rapport as a growing social media influencer and freelance business owner and consultant. Under my second company, “Treble Girl Ent” I offer artist development, brand & business consulting, creative directing, mentoring programs and more to underserved women in the industry as well as men who support the vision of female empowerment.

Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t been the easiest journey as an independent female artist in this business. After leaving behind my career in teaching to do music full time, I knew the ability to sustain on music alone was going to a long road. Throughout that time, I continued to invest in myself, my music and my own company and although I suffered losses along the way, they always led me to my next chapter and gave me more knowledge to pass along to the next generation in music.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
My primary business during this time has been Treble Girl Ent. During the Quarantine and with everything currently shut down, I still find it possible to connect with my clients and staff remotely thanks to the Internet. We specialize in helping artists, creatives and businesses alike transition to their next phase as we help with everything from branding, social media, business registration, artist development, release strategies, and more.

What sets us apart from others is that we work with every client based on their budget and current needs and we not only treat them like family but we go above and beyond to assist in them every avenue of their journey. We like to consider ourselves a one stop shop no matter your current level or experience in your field.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Burbank is in fact a great place for anyone looking to start in this business or to transition to. We are local to many major studios in both music and film production. The ability to network and expand is never far away and the area feels very safe and easy to learn and navigate.
