Today we’d like to introduce you to Mary Tawadros Aka EgyptianPrincess8.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Mary. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I faced a tragic accident that almost took my life when I was seven years old. I was physically hit by a car, broke both my legs, right collar bone, fraction in my head, double vision at the time, stayed in the hospital for a month and three days. Even at a young age, God used me to help people next to me in other rooms.
There was a lady who spoke Arabic and the nurses needed to explain to her about the physical therapy. I was in my hospital room unable to move, however I could hear through the hallway, I called the nurse over and told her I can translate. The family was very appreciative and came that evening to thank me. I had to learn to walk all over again, the trauma my body went through then and over the years from falls, sprained patellar tendons and the fact that I am still alive despite aches and pains is a Gift from God. I am here on borrowed time and know God wasn’t done with me walking in my purpose of serving others. I love and believe in Empowering People, sometimes you need someone who is your personal Cheerleader, away from your immediate Circle who will tell you the truth. Helping as a Life Coach navigate through what is hindering you from tapping into your God-given Gifts, Dreams and Purpose.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, my parents had me at a late age where they faced sickness throughout my whole relationship with them. I had to take care of my dad and mom as they rapidly continued getting sick. Also growing up in a very traditional conservative Egyptian Orthodox Christian home only gave me a voice to write poetry. I didn’t pursue my artistic skills till much later. I was always creative and wanted to express myself however it wasn’t allowed. My parents have now passed on and in the last nine years of my life, I have Shined Artistically in ways I would have never imagined had they still been here. I too have faced physical setbacks however I am determined to get stronger, healthier now more than ever.

Being able to express myself Artistically had given me a way of breathing like never before, sitting still allowing colors to flow into awakened Dreams I have always wanted to see. Then My first Solo Art Exhibit happened on October 12th, 2019 called Trifecta celebrating 30 Pieces of My Art on the Wall, Sharing My Poems with the Guests and celebrating my 43rd birthday. Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory is whenever I spent time with my grandma Hayat and she would bake this delicious buttery cheese pie in a flaky filo dough and make me coffee with creamer and sugar. She was an angelic soul, I loved spending time with her.
