Meet Ariel Boone of Tea at Brunch

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariel Boone.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Ariel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m the Founder and Curator of Tea at Brunch. Tea at Brunch is an event management company that also hosts our own events and women’s boutique that sells the perfect brunch outfits for your outings with your girls. Now let’s get into the birth of Tea at Brunch. I was a new mother and had the yearning to connect with other women on a social and professional level outside of the workplace. Creating this space for women that are like-minded was very therapeutic to say the least because the environment was very laxed and there was no force of connection during each event. We started by enjoying different restaurants to now hosting our events at different venues.

As adults, it’s hard to make genuine connections in and out of the workplace so my goal was to create networking/self-care brunches to ease the tension of feeling obligated to connect with others. I have a background in event planning in the corporate world; where I’ve planned Career Fairs, Professional Development Workshops for school districts, and conferences for Fortune 100 companies. After being in the industry for five plus years, I wanted to take my expertise and put it to use by creating a safe haven where millennials can get together and have a place to learn and elevate while enjoying a glass of champagne. Our main goal is to make genuine connections and have a pool of resources for our community members to grow professionally, socially, and emotionally. My mission is complete if at least two people connect and form a friendship or partnership after attending a Tea at Brunch event. After all, it’s about who you know and not what you know. What you know will keep your seat at the table!

I also have a soft spot for entrepreneurs; so, I’m constantly promoting businesses on Tea at Brunch social media account; FREE OF CHARGE. That’s right, free of charge. I want to see everyone win so reposting someone’s business is nothing but a click. So, why would I capitalize off of something that causes me no effort?

Since the pandemic Tea at Brunch has pivoted in hosting virtual events and adding a women’s boutique to the website. You can find the perfect brunch outfit in our Day Lush Collection located on our website.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s not been a smooth road but I’m up for the challenge. I’ve recently added a women’s boutique; DAY LUSH to the brand and it’s been a little difficult to properly convey that Tea at Brunch sell women’s clothing now. So, I’m working on a campaign to market our women’s line.

Please tell us about Tea at Brunch.
Tea at Brunch curate meaningful and purposeful events to connect and develop the millennial woman. Our goal is to grow professionally, mentally, and socially. I’ve recently added a women’s boutique that sells the perfect brunch outfit for your you day outings.

I specialize in connecting people and providing resources when needed. I created Tea at Brunch to offer a new way to network with less tension and more ease.

I’m proud that Tea at Brunch serves as a source to connect people. My heart is full when our attendees get the vision and tell their friends about what we’re doing with the brand. We pride ourselves of creating an environment with like-minded people to discuss their goals and business with full-on transparency.

I don’t like to compare myself much but I feel that I have the ability to make people feel comfortable. I genuinely want to get to know people beyond their surface.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I’m lucky to have connected with every soul that ever attended a Tea at Brunch event. Each individual brought something different to the table and I’m forever grateful for their presence.
