Meet Kelsey Norris of Albright Fashion Library LA in Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelsey Norris.

Kelsey, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I knew at age 12, I wanted to move to Los Angeles and go to fashion school. I always had a vision to start out in the industry as a teenage model, then naturally evolve to styling and designing. I had an opportunity to pursue fashion design in Europe just days after turning 22, and I left my LA models life behind to get a head start on a career that I felt had more longevity. It was quite a ride and I learned a lot in those two years. The very same day I resigned from that position, I had an interview in New York City at the Albright Fashion Library. Within a couple of weeks, I had started my new role as Showroom Director of the company on the west coast. Here the new chapter begins.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My focus is always on the solution and meeting my client’s needs. A positive attitude, grace and persistence can turn any struggle into an opportunity to learn and grow. Being a good listener and trusting my instincts keep me on track.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
As Director of Albright Fashion Library LA, I work with top stylists and editors to create star-powered looks for any occasion, from red-carpet to editorial, film/tv, and music videos and performances. We are known for our impressive range of couture and luxury brand clothing and accessories, which we often buy just moments after they have walked down the runways in Paris.

Our clients hire A-list looks for a fraction of the cost on loan, which gives them the freedom to express themselves without the financial pressure of buying. Most of our pieces are so current or rare from designer archive, this access does not exist anywhere else! Our unrivaled collection and our intensely personal service create a transformative experience that no-one can match.
