Meet Nicolas Flores of Sally Hershberger Salon in West Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicolas Flores.

Nicolas, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
At 21 I moved to Los Angeles after finishing Cosmetology School in Orange County. I was hired at Sally Herhberger salon where I started my apprenticeship under top stylist including Sally Herhberger. After three years of assisting I was promoted to a full-time position as a hairstylist, I’ve had the privilege of working with High profile clients, editorial photoshoots, as well as build a solid clientele base.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I can’t define my career as being a smooth road or not having any struggles. I’ve put in a lot of work to be where I am today. Over the last ten years there haven’t been many vacations, time-off, and not to mention I never say “NO” to anything work related. I love what I do and wouldn’t change anything as it shaped me into who I am today.

Please tell us about your business.
Hairstylist. I specialize in haircutting and styling for both men and women. I am known for creating dramatic transformations such as blunt bobs, short layered cuts, pixies and even long hair.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I can’t say I would do anything differently. the mistakes or mishaps along the way got me to where I am today.
