Today we’d like to introduce you to Liberty Netuschil.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Liberty. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m an Idaho born and raised creative that moved to Los Angeles at age 18 to open doors for new opportunities, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to pursue a degree in radiology or live in the city of angels to pursue a modeling career. Taking a leap of faith into an industry that I knew nothing about led me to the lifestyle of my dreams!
When I’m not booked on a photoshoot, you can find me posting daily motivational quotes to my Instagram, enjoying a large ‘Birthday Cake Remix’ at Coldstone Creamery, living it up in Malibu or indulging in wine and cheese. I have two furry cats that I call my children, and any animal is my best friend. In the future, I hope to be traveling and creating stunning content to raise awareness and funds to endangered species in sanctuaries around the world!
My persistence to be the best has taken me to where I am today.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a rocky, unpaved and sometimes unclear path to say the least. Coming from a small town of 500 people in Lava Hot Springs Idaho had its perks of the “small town vibe” (aka friendly, good values and pure); but it also came with many struggles. I didn’t have more than $1000 when I moved to LA, and it took working as an extra or feature roll on movies that paid $200/12 hours, modeling for spontaneous companies at extremely low rates while trying to live in the expensive housing in LA to make it. I didn’t know anybody or where to go- I just knew I had a profound desire to try this career path that was different. There were many times I didn’t have enough money to pay rent, my insurance or even groceries and had to call upon the kindness of my friends to help me! I am so grateful for these struggles because it truly humbles you and reminds you what life used to be like.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am a model, blogger and content creator based in LA. I am modeling 90% of the time right now, but I want to continue to build my brand to be a public figure that travels to relevant conferences, events and serves a higher purpose in the future.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Truthfully, I believe luck is only a very small portion of success. Momentum is what really brings these small little opportunities that will help you ‘level up’ in life. Just like a ripple effect, when you build up good or bad, luck will come after.
