Belle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I used to be a sales manager in a big moving company but during my work over there I always felt like the company is being unfair to her clients (too pricey, didn’t always send professional movers, didn’t take care of her employees like they deserve est…)
My husband which also worked for the same company came to me one day with the idea of opening our own small company. I jumped at the idea since we both cared about the same things which are making sure our clients are always taking care of in a personal way and are happy with the price and the service, making sure our employees feel like they are like family and the most impotent thing was being able to do all of this while having the time to take care and spend quality time with our two princesses.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As everyone knows we opened the company in a bad time economy wise. But thanks to our ideals we managed to stay strong since most of our business is coming from Repeats, Referrals and clients that saw our wonderful reviews on several review sites.
Please tell us about Green Mountain Moving and Storage.
We are a moving and Storage Company, Our movers are also professional packers so we are able to give a complete package of packing, moving and storage. The thing that makes me proud is the fact that after every move when I call the client for a follow up I always here only good things about our service and I know that the only reason for that is that our movers really cares about our company and feel a part of it, That is the reason that when they go out to do a move they are always with a smile on their faces and they do everything in their power to make sure the client is happy and satisfied with the service.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory is family dinners, I was always family oriented and I thank god that he is giving me the option to be able to work and spend a lot of time with my girls.
