Today we’d like to introduce you to Talin Silva.
Talin, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
The first passion I started with was dancing at six years old, it was one of the most terrifying things for me. It soon became one of my four passions. I started acting not long after and booked my first show “24 “ starting Keifer Southerland at age 8. From there, I stared in Children’s Hospital, Southland, Nickelodeon and got casted in the top 10 YouTube Series “Chicken Girls “ as Jade. I’ve been a singer my whole life and over the past four years, I’ve become a recording artist, releasing singles that hit #1 in the South Asian Charts and #1 on top radio stations. I’m currently working on a whole new ep with a whole new vibe that I’m so excited to share with the rest of the world! I currently came back from Europe after touring 9 countries in three and a half weeks, singing and meeting my fans. I then after coming back from Europe went on The Lights Out Tour for a week and a half over the US States. I’ve recently went to NyC and modeled for Fashion Week for Chick Nyc as well as shoot with Promgirl, Chick NyC and attend the Spray Ground Fashion Show! I’ve traveled to NYC quite some time for Fashion Week and shoots with Promgirl where I hosted at Madison Square Garden for the Dream of Hopes Foundation, I continue to train every day and work hard towards my goals. Singing, Dancing, Acting and Modeling are a huge part in my life which I love to do every day.
Has it been a smooth road?
Being in this industry isn’t always going to be the smoothest road. Having a dream that many others are trying to achieve as well comes with sacrifice and at times being turned down for a job, and sometimes having haters in your life but it’s helped motivate me into working harder and not giving up on my dreams and what I want to become. You’re always gonna go through struggles but you can never let them get to you and stop you from doing what you love.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I definitely think LA is the place to be in this industry because everything is based out over here from movies to agents it’s the home of the industry. I definitely would recommend to others starting out in this busses to move out into LA to get started.
