Meet Adam Rindy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Rindy.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started shooting photos when I was around 16. Like most things it just started out as something fun to do while I was skateboarding, and getting into trouble with my friends. From there, it slowly became a something I loved doing more than anything else in my life. Years later I realized if I wanted to do more with photography I would need be somewhere that had a demand for it. To make a long story short I moved to Los Angeles, and have been here shooting photos ever since that was about 13 years ago.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Anyone that tells you they had an easy path to success is a liar, or undeserving. I grew up poor as shit as a child. We were constantly moving from place to place, on welfare, even homeless for a while. Every single day I look at how far I’ve come and make sure to appreciate where I’m at, and what I have.

Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
I’m usually hired for the Commercial / Advertising / Fashion work I do. Taking photos of people is what I’m best known for. I’ve always taken photos of people. When I first discovered photography as a kid it was something I used to document what my friends, and I where doing. That slowly transitioned into taking photos of other people, and what they were doing. My love for photography stems from a much greater love of human interaction. Whether it’s beauty photography, fashion photography, reportage or lifestyle my approach is easily recognizable. I feel it’s honest, fresh, calm, creative, and fun while still maintaining a high level of quality. I’d like to think this can easily be used to describe my own personality, which is also reflected within my work.

What were you like growing up?
My mom always tells me I was the happiest kid growing up. There was nothing that could keep me bummed out for too long. I still feel like this holds true. I always try to be as positive and optimistic as possible.
