Today we’d like to introduce you to Shaleen Moore.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born in San Louis Obispo California, a nature lover, always feeling connected to the earth and looking up to the night sky for guidance. Feeling drawn to ceremony and ritual, I started a daily practice of yoga and meditation in my early 20’s that turned into a beautiful discovery of self-care. I started practicing morning rituals of Kundalini yoga, sound meditation, and journaling to start healing. By living consciously with intention and gratitude, this shift of perspective created the peace and energy I wanted in my body and in my life. I am a Taurus, an earth sign, so I began aligning my life around nature and crystals. I started incorporating a citrine crystal in my morning rituals everyday almost 6 years ago. Drawn to its energy, feeling protected, that crystal went everywhere with me. I truly feel that is helped me manifest and create abundance in my life, it was one of my daily self-care tools to bring me back into balance. Never able to find a stylish versatile crystal pouch that could be used in my spiritual practice and my daily life, I began making the pouches for personal use around 4 years ago and is how the Abundance Pouch was created. I’m so excited to share my daily tools of self-love with the world. I believe there is enough abundance for everyone. This magical pouch is a daily reminder to really honor and love yourself.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being fresh into the fashion world, I have learned to be patient when someone doesn’t understand the intention of the abundance pouch. Not everyone is open to the idea of using crystals as a daily tool of self-care and self-discovery. My product may not be for everyone at this time, but maybe in the future, they will be open to trying something new. Currently developing my website.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
With the company being so new I’m still learning day to day. My morning rituals of self-care have been a big part of trusting myself.
