Meet Alessia Vernazza

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alessia Vernazza.

Alessia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born in London, and I moved to LA when I was 16 so around two years ago now.

I have been acting and modeling my whole life and around two years ago, I was accepted into AADA- The American Academy Of Dramatic Arts with a scholarship. I moved out to LA and it was a big change.

I’ve been modeling for a very long time and since I’ve been out here, I’ve worked with amazing photographers and videographers to create amazing friendships and partnerships. I’ve been on websites and pages etc.

I’m also an Influencer/ Content Creator. Since moving to LA I have gained lots of followers and so I started getting involved with brands and collaborating with them. As well as attending events with celebs and the elite.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I’m not going to lie and say it has been easy, because it hasn’t. My father once said to me, “the hardest most challenging things in life are the most rewarding, and so I stand by that.

When moving to LA, I found it to be a very big culture shock for me. It was hard adapting to the way of life here and how everything works as it’s very different to back home. I found it hard to make friends, I was trying to find out who my real friends were and who weren’t but over time I’ve found my way and I really do love it out here.

To everyone out their who’s moving from a different country to LA, it’s going to be tough at the beginning but just embrace it. I’ve matured so much for this experience so just enjoy it.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m an Actor/ Model/ Influencer and Content Creator.

I’ve been in acting since I was very young and it’s always been my number one passion. I go to acting school out here and I’m graduating in less than two weeks so I’m very excited. I love performing in plays and on the stage, I’ve worked on plays such as, “An Inspector Calls” and many more.

I’ve been modeling for around two years now and I love it. I used to model when I was younger but then stopped because I was very young. I’ve worked with many brands out here and worked with amazing photographers and videographers. Through modeling I found my passion for being an Influencer. I create content for brands and get gifted with free items and I also get paid for it.

I’m most proud on being on a cover for a fashion website. Working with Calvin Klein was amazing and I will never forget that moment.

What sets me apart is my confidence and my experience. I’m only 19 years old and I’ve done so much and worked with some many big brands etc. so that is definitely one thing that sets me apart as well as that I am confident and that helps me socialize and make contacts.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I honestly don’t have one specific childhood memory I will always remember the days where I would spend time with my family and friends. I’ll always remember specific moments with specific people, like going down to see my football team Chelsea at Stamford bridge with my dad and helping my grandfather cook, etc.
