Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Paige.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Danielle. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Let me first start off by saying I had no idea I would be doing the work I’m doing today!! That’s the magical part of life, we have no idea the surprises that are in store for us! My background is in Interior Architecture in which I have my Master’s degree in so in many ways I was already reading blueprints it just went from the inner workings of buildings to the inner workings of soul’s. But let’s back up for a minute. At 30 years old my life completely changed. I started having a spiritual awakening which sounds very woo and out there but we all go through it to different degrees at different times in our lives. I was working at an architecture firm and living with my boyfriend at the time in Boston but I was miserable at my job. I had no idea what I wanted to do but I knew it wasn’t that. I kept saying I needed to help people but I didn’t have the words or awareness to know how that was exactly going to unfold. Then on my 30th birthday in France the Universe stepped in to shift my life direction. My boyfriend dumped me on my bday, yes, literally on my 30th bday while on vacation in France. After that, I knew it was time to leave my job and Boston and move back home to Los Angeles where I’m from.
During this time was when the economy was tanking so there were no design jobs. So now I was crying over my breakup, couldn’t find a job, and living with my parents at 30 years old – not the life I imagined for myself but exactly how it was supposed to unfold. Over the course of the next year things began to shift and I started realizing there was more to the is world beyond the physical realm. I started having dreams that would end up coming true and would also tell me about things which would then happen. It was wild! I didn’t grow up having these experiences so at first I was a little scared until I quickly realized that the piece of me that felt missing my entire life was slowly emerging! Needless to say, I spent many years healing, clearing out old programs and coming back home to my truth. Along the way, I was introduced to Astrology and saw what a powerful tool it was for helping people get to know themselves on the deepest level possible. I ended up teaching it to myself which really meant was soul was remembering what I had done many times before. After several years I started my own business and now I use astrology and my intuition as a tool to help people understand their soul, purpose, behavioral patterns, cycles they are in and so much more! I always tell people this….there is no way I would be doing it if it wasn’t accurate and life-changing. 11 years later the amount of clarity I’ve brought to thousands of people is beyond priceless!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The was not smooth nor was it bumpy it was WILD!!!!!! I spent most of my 30’s healing, clearing, understanding how to work with spirit, learning astrology, letting go of old belief systems, healing my body (because when you shift energetically your body always follows) and there were so many times when I just wanted to “live a normal life and go to a normal job” but I also knew that, that wasn’t who I was at all. I look back on all that occurred to get me to this place and I am in awe of the human spirit which is why I know we are all so much stronger than we think we are. I have always been someone who didn’t care what others thought and followed my own path no matter how it looked to anyone else so I didn’t have to worry about caring if people would accept this new lifestyle and journey. In fact many people are scared to come out of the “spiritual closet” but I always say I would have come out sooner, I just didn’t even know I was in there myself! Once I started unraveling of the old Danielle, the one conditioned by society and from life I quickly saw that this was exactly what my purpose in life was and exactly why I was supposed to be here. However, keep in mind that it was not as easy as it sounds. I spent many many many years alone working on myself and understanding the world we can’t always see with our eyes. This was a journey back to my heart and soul and one that I needed to pull away from a lot of people to truly be on. Eventually, though we all circle back and now I have a community and so much support around me but the isolation and alone time, no matter how lonely it felt at times, was vital for my spiritual growth.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am an Intuitive Astrologer and Spiritual Teacher which basically means I read people’s birth charts and help them understand themselves on a deeper level. I work with people to clear out beliefs, find their purpose, understand why they do the things they do and learn about the cycles they are in so they can work with the energy instead of against it. I specialize in helping people who on going through their spiritual journey, which, looks different for everyone but it feels the same….confusion and change as well a feeling of the old self-falling away. I am known for my down to earth straight forward approach with a splash of wit along the way! I am most proud of everything I’ve worked through on an emotional and spiritual level to get me to where I am today which is running a successful online business that helps people all over the world with retreats, workshops, online courses, personal readings, virtual moon circles, my podcast and more. What sets me apart from others is I get most of my information from source. I of course read books but everything I’ve learned about the Universe, our human journey, and going through a spiritual awakening has been through my own experiences and through listening to the information that comes through me – this is your greatest teacher – your higher self.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck. I believe in our vibration and our karmic contract with the Universe. Some things are set up ahead of time and others we have to do the work so that the Universe can work with us. If we don’t show up “they” meaning the Universe can’t infuse us with the gifts we desire.
