Today we’d like to introduce you to Elisamar Rosado.
Elisamar, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I remember when I began my blog a year and half ago with two babies in arms, a one-year-old and a three years old. It was a project where I need to be firmly decided because once I started writing, I would have to be consistent. I would have to create content, write in both English and Spanish, edit, and work creative projects with brands. It really has not been easy. There are days that are super busy. However, I learned to manage my time and to always have my goal very clear.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road to what Elisamar.com and my social media pages are today has not been easy. It has consisted of hundreds of hours of planning and lack of sleep. Most of the times, I work once my girls have gone to sleep. It’s all a lot of work without kids so you can imagine how it is with two little kids in the home. My husband is director of art and design for my project and like me, works very hard in the creation of concepts and ideas. We use a lot of our time together as couple to work on this.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Elisamar.com – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I decided to open this blog in order to share my flair for being able to create great, fashionable looks for every occasion, to share tips on how to dress for less, and to basically share my passion and talent for accessorizing with statement pieces. Another thing that is also a vital part of my blog is my love of motherhood and a healthy upbringing. My goal is to encourage, educate, and inspire all women across the globe through my personal style, runway trends, mommy life, beauty secrets, and tips and tricks on fashion. I work creative projects, photos, videos, and marketing concepts with companies like Lexus, Macy’s, Johnson & Johnson, Nuface, South Coast Plaza, Coach, among others.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
If there is anyone who deserves the credit throughout all this journey, it’s my husband. He is my favorite photographer, creative director, graphic designer, web developer, and covers all of the visual part of what I do. From the beautiful photos and videos, the business card, and even carrying a suitcase with makeup, clothes, shoes, camera, and lens, he is always there. He has a ton of patience, love, and passion for the arts and this project. And even though you’ll almost never see him in front of the camera, he is a huge part of each one of my achievements.
