Meet Zaneta Auler of YogaCycle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zaneta Auler.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was a strong, highly motivated team handball player for years, achieving many medals in my native country of Poland, and was a multiple winner in 100-meter races. I have always loved the variety in life and in sports: I love skiing, snowboarding, roller skating, cycling and scuba diving. I love movement in general and I am very active in everyday life. After moving to California 4 years ago, I fell in love with the amazing energy of spinning classes. I also tried yoga for the first time and discovered how good it is for my body and mind.
My main business is Fun Travel Tourist Agency that took me around the world, to 86 countries. I am an addicted traveler and passionate to explore the world and encourage others to do the same. But to balance the stress involved in this unpredicted business I need stability when I am back home. And that is how YogaCycle was born:) Having all I love and need in one place is priceless. The best instructors, fantastic members, challenging classes, nice atmosphere, community, retreats abroad – it can’t be better and I have to say that dreams come true. My motto is “Yes it can be done but you have to do the work”

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Running a business is never smooth, it is full of ups and downs. Little victories and sometimes big losses, financial and emotional, and for sure many doubts along the way. It is 24/7 work and dedication. You have to stay updated and alert all the time. You have to learn and search for smart advice, you need to learn from your mistakes and proceed towards the better future. I have years of experience in travel industry, working in different countries. But still opening my own studio in California, in such a saturated market, brought unexpected problems and surprised me in many ways. But as I always say when I teach spinning class ” Everything is hard before it is easy”:) So overall it is a fantastic experience, worth every minute of hard work.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with YogaCycle – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Whether you’re new to exercising or already an endorphin addict, YogaCycle is a home for you. Our mission is to inspire you to get and stay fit by creating a community that encourages each other in their fitness goals. We pride ourselves on being a family and are so grateful to be welcoming new family members to our studio daily. We have 15 instructors with different fitness backgrounds, different personalities, and approach towards fitness. We want our members to find and connect with those who inspire them the most, challenge them and keep them on track in their healthy lifestyle. We all enjoy what we do and we hope it is contagious.

Our new idea (implemented last year for the first time) are overseas YogaCycle retreats, when we combine visiting new countries, enjoying delicious food, socializing but not forgetting about daily yoga and biking. Last year we visited France, Belgium, and Holland. In 2017 we go to Austria, Croatia and Montenegro. 2018 we reserve for Italy. So pack your bags and join us. It will be an unforgettable experience.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We’ve been on the market only for a year so we are still in the process of expanding our brand and inviting more local residents to visit us for the first time. We want to have very strong presence in South Bay area. Our goal is to attract employees of our neighborhood businesses to exercise before or after work, or even during lunch breaks. We offer separate showers equipped with soap and shampoo, we also have towels at the studio, so all is ready for them to come and release stress and get strong and healthy. We are organizing many social events for our members (Holiday Party, Jamaican Spinning, Brazilian Carnival, Halloween Glow Ride) and a lot of donation classes to support community and create a feeling of belonging and giving back to those who are less fortunate.

Pricing:

  • First Class $10
  • Single Class $25
  • Package of 10 classes (they never expire) $230
  • Monthly membership (unlimited yoga, spinning and TRX) $100

What a great story! I’ve known Zaneta for many years, first in her role as a tour manager and later as a wellness instructor. Hard work, dedication and love for what you do will always bring success. And Zaneta is the best example. Yo go girl!!!! Highly recommend.
