We’d love to hear more about Kathryn Ross-Nash New York Pilates, LLC.
After being in the Pilates world for over 40 years, I have developed a system to explain in a digestible way the application of Pilates as a method.
I also am a strong advocate of embracing yourself and your truth. I hate all the edited photos of women and have launched a campaign called #don’ttouchme. I do not allow my photos to be photoshopped or filtered (yes, lighting corrected or color corrected). I feel that the industry of changing our images has destroyed the self-esteem of so many. We are beautiful- warts, scars, wrinkles and all.
What’s the most important piece of advice you could give to a young woman just starting her career?
If it doesn’t feel right – don’t do it!
