Meet Trailblazer Carolyne Beaulne

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolyne Beaulne.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Carolyne. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started Real Estate in 2016 but at the time, I was still a stay at home Mom. My career really catapulted in December of that year. At first, real estate was pretty difficult since I was born and raised in Canada. I didn’t have any family or friends in the state of California that could send me referrals. So, I had to put my sleeves up and work twice as hard as any other agents. I tried to read, go to classes and watch a lot of YouTube videos on how to get customers. I started Doorknocking a lot. Going door to door and asking if anyone was looking to buy or sell without any strategy really. I was also doing a lot of other things like open houses, sitting at the front desk of my office and wait for calls, I ran ads on social media, I ask for referrals from clients, etc.

Has it been a smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been an easy or smooth road. In real estate, you have to be dedicated, passionate and aggressive with business and customers. Going the extra mile is the key. My biggest struggle was being consistent in getting and closing transactions. In real estate, if you are not consistent in lead generating, you will have many many dry months where you start to stress a lot on how you will pay your bills. If you are starting, take one day at a time. Work on a structure and plan for your business and schedule. Lead generate every day thru the phone, door to door, online and with open houses & ASK FOR REFERRALS!

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a full-time Realtor in Southern California. I specialize in Putting Expired Listing back on the market and getting them sold. Also, I help many first time buyers, owner looking to upgrade or downsize. I’m very proud of the expansion of my business. I always say that I am a Realtor Without Borders. I also adore marketing a new listing from A to Z which my office Mainstreet Realtors specialize in with many different tools and that’s how we stand out from our competition.

Which women have inspired you in your life?
This might sound particular but the person/woman that inspires me the most is myself. I look at where I was five years ago when I first moved to the United States Of America. I was so shy, scarred and unsecured as if I was a good fit in this country. Now, I am happily married, with a 4-year-old son and running a business that I adore and am so very grateful to everyone that believed and keep giving me power every single day.
