Meet Montana Rose of Fill The City in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Montana Rose.

Montana, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started to Fill The City four years ago after the great success of helping my previous boyfriend grow his branding and marketing agency exponentially within two years. After I realized how successful I was at growing relationships, creative direction, and cultivating my creative resources for others, I knew it was time.

One night I sat in our loft in DTLA with my colleague Ali, and we started designing my dream. Fill The City was initially an app to connect blank spaces/business owners to artists so we could literally, Fill the City with public art. It has yet since involved to not only the exterior design of murals but to totally immersive experiences.

I’m known as a colorful and adventurous girl, and I live by my motto “bright colors, bright ideas.” When I create these experiences, I honestly consider it “art therapy” for myself. I have got to where I am today thanks to my tenacity, my ability to think creatively and quick on my feet, and leveraging my resources and people.

For me, relationships are everything, and I care for them with great honor. In order to fund my dreams (and my experiences) I work two jobs, first Fill The City and the second a Creative Lead at Amazon (Ring) and work round the clock creating proposals, sending them out, making experiences real, and connecting with icons and just hustling as much as I can as often as I can.

I have literally had only just begun, but what keeps me going is the euphoric feeling I get when I create an experience for people.

Has it been a smooth road?
I have literally have only just begun, but what keeps me going is the euphoric feeling I get when I create an experience for people.

Another challenge like I mentioned is working another full-time job to fund my dreams as that takes up a lot of my time. With more projects completed and more connections made I will have a large enough income stream to be completely on my own.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Fill The City – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Fill The City is a creative agency that focuses on creative strategy for brands particularly in the scope of experiential, social campaigns and environmental design.

We are the ones people call for when they need help with coming up with a strategy to market and showcase their brand in a unique and memorable way – enter brand activations and experiential, social campaigns.

We are also the ones people call when they need help with actual artistic design concept and execution of those concepts- enter an exterior mural design for corporate buildings, custom basketball courts for Nike (Jordan) or public art campaigns.

What sets us apart from others is our niche resources, and relationships in the industry that we leverage and that we are very tastefully art focused from LA, so we know what’s good.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love everything about Los Angeles. I grew up here, and every city and every back road that I know holds a memory for me, even if I’m stuck in traffic. I’m a sucker for Mullholland.

Pricing:
