Today we’d like to introduce you to Sungwoo Park.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
Sungwoo Park is a fashion photographer in Los Angeles, California. He spent his adolescence in South Korea where he discovered his avid interest in photography at an early age. He later moved to the United States to pursue fashion photography. Through his ever-growing business, Sungwoo has had the opportunity to travel the world and share his vision with other international photographers and audience. He has worked with photographers from Korea, Japan, Philippines, and America. Sungwoo is signed with a preeminent photography agency in Korea and he currently works with more than hundreds of prominently known fashion brands in Downtown Los Angeles. Sungwoo participated in various shows and events including: Style Fashion Week SS16, American Music Award, Nicole Lee USA Fashion Show, Los Angeles Fashion Week, Art Hearts Fashion Show, and some of the international events such as KCON Music Festival. Sungwoo aspires to become a globally known photographer that can inspire his audience.
Please tell us about your art.
I love to meet new faces and being social. Fashion photography is fast paced and I love that about it. There is always a new product, a new person to meet, and new people to work with.
Choosing a creative or artistic path comes with many financial challenges. Any advice for those struggling to focus on their artwork due to financial concerns?
Social Media is a great way to network, showcase your work, and connect with other artists. Working with friends is a great way to get started or people who are interested in your field.
