Meet Aaron Dalla Villa in NYC and LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Dalla Villa.

Aaron, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always been an entertainer. I knew it at a very young age, probably the reason why my grandmother would call me “Little Jim Carrey.”

Attending the Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk, VA really solidified that for me. This was something I wanted to do with my life.

Funny how I started in the arts by playing the tenor saxophone, switched to being a ballet dancer, and now I primarily act.

I will never stop growing as an artist and like to keep all of my skills sharp because, in this business, you never know what opportunity may come your way. Always be prepared.

I got where I am today by busting my tail and meeting others who saw my talent and then put me in certain positions to showcase it. I’m very grateful for those relationships.

Luck happens when opportunity meets preparedness.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. It has been a day in and day out grind. A fight. A struggle. But there have been victories.

I’ve been on my own since I was 18, in some cases before that, and take a lot of pride in how far I’ve come.

I have had to work many side jobs, pay for school, and bust my ass to get where I am.

There were days when I would clean the toilets at the Chipotle Mexican Grill in Nashville, TN, making minimum wage, and keep repeating to myself that I was doing to right thing…that I would be in movies…that I would be successful.

There were days when I didn’t have enough money to afford heat. I came down with shingles quickly after. That was a rough time.

There were weeks when I ate the same meal. Eggs and bread. Nonetheless, I was grateful to have a meal. There are many starving people everywhere, and it’s a humbling reminder how anyone of us can fall at any moment.

There are days when I ask myself, “Why am I doing this?” “Why not get a REAL job?” and “I’ll never be good enough,” but then I have moments of validation when I’m reminding that I’m MEANT to do this. Those moments keep me going.

I don’t do this for anyone else now. I do it for me.

Tell us about your business/company. What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc.
Multi-Faceted Talent. Driven to be successful in all aspects of life.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Hustle, grind, blood, sweat, and tears to reach the top. Why not go all in?

Always have to keep up with the industry trends. They change every day.

Always looking to meet new people with my drive. Always looking to create and collaborate.

Your perception creates your reality.
