Meet Orel De La Mota

Today we’d like to introduce you to Orel De La Mota.

Orel – A Dominican Republic-born actor with ties to New York and the Midwest. He is a professional Actor with national TV commercials, theatre productions, and TV Movies to his name. In Addition, some of his TV credits include “Grace & Frankie”, “Celia” both on NETFLIX, Warner Brothers’ “Dawn” Pilot Presentation (Directed By Sam Raimi), “I’m Dying Up Here” on SHOWTIME by Jim Carrey and most recently NCIS LA opposite LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No. Not at all… Hundreds of auditions without bookings, Pilots that did not get picked up, agents that did not believe in me, learning English, expensive LA living, etc.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Orel De La Mota – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I am an actor in the top of my bracket. I specialize in villain roles… I’m most proud of my recent booking on NCIS LA.

What sets me apart is the fact that I have an incredibly ethnic & exotic look from the D.R. and most of this town does not have my kind. My persistence, hard work and dedication over the years will elevate me to conquer any goal I set for myself. Courage, confidence and self love will continue to put me on top.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I will be the first Dominican to ever win an Emmy for the D.R. I’m looking forward to the new reps I’m signing with… My career is moving forward fast.
