Meet Daniel Gutierrez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Gutierrez.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Daniel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my business 23 years ago in LA after helping the Best Buy company build its company. I did not need to leave as I had good stock, good pay and many benefits.

Something inside me wanted to motivate and inspire people. So with no experience or any way to know how to get the help, I set out to start my business. Will I share more in my interview?

Has it been a smooth road?
No, not even close. I struggled a lot to know “how” to do business int he world of self-help. I used to call myself meals on wheels. If you fed me I was willing to speak to your group.

In the end, I was working with big corporations like Harley Davidson and making up to 25,000 per keynote.
*I lost big money on my first event at the LA convention centre 150K
* I spent all my money and wasn’t sure how I was going to survive
* much much more

Today I do three things:
I take people on spiritual journeys around the world.
I am a Master Life/Business Coach
I am a keynote speaker on the topic of Radical Mindfulness and Mindful Leadership
I am an author of 4 books and now completing my last book on Radical Mindfulness due out late fall/early winter 2018

I am most proud of the many of people that I have taken on these journeys around the world the difference I have made in their lives. Form house mons, to corporate executives. I am proud of being a published author. I am different in that my Ph.D. had been n life experiences. When you are dealing with the matters of the heart, there is no intellectual knowledge that can help you, you must ask the heart and I have had my fair share of experiences that allow me to guide my clients.

I have had students and client in 17 countries!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Our city is the best place for a business like mine. I am from Texas and had I stayed there I would not have developed as much as I have. People in La are much more open which allowed me to practice what I was teaching without the kind of judgment I may have found in other cites.
