Meet Tim Finnegan of Los Angeles / OC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tim Finnegan.

Hi Tim, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I moved to Los Angeles in 2023 to pursue my dream career in the entertainment industry. It was always my dream to live in LA, and it’s been great to be involved as a production assistant on film sets, be able to get comedy gigs as a stand up comedian, and more. LA is the place to be for all the entertainment and I am very grateful to have so many wonderful opportunities to get involved.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There were some challenges and obstacles along the way when I first moved to LA. First, things didn’t go as planned and I almost thought I had to leave LA right away and move back to the Midwest where I moved from, but that never actually happened. And I knew that I moved to LA for a reason, so I knew not to give up on my dream career that I’ve always wanted and I knew to keep being persistent and never let any self doubts win.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a stand up comedian and I am also an actor, production assistant, musician, YouTuber, etc. I like to be creative with the work that I do. Last year in 2025, I performed in some comedy gigs in various parts of the country and it was an honor to get selected to perform in those comedy showcases as I keep growing my fans and continue my comedy career. It’s also been great to post travel vlogs to YouTube when I travel and explore different parts of the country and my fans find that inspirational as well.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
One piece of advice I would give to anyone who is passionate about pursuing a career in entertainment is to keep being persistent even when you face rejection or if you have doubts, and never give up. You’ll make it towards your goals and anything you set your mind to.
