Today we’d like to introduce you to Mount Oddo.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
This climb of Mount Oddo started 17 yrs ago! With rap being the catalyst, Oddo has been looking to solidify his sound, talent & passion for music. He has been building a genuine fan base for almost two decades now, and has yet to get his industry shot. Known for his iconic voice, the Mount Man is one of the most consistent artist of his generation and WILL NOT STOP until his mission is accomplished.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Every Mountain has ridges, bumps and obstacles, so the climb definitely hasn’t been “smooth.” From building a legitimate team that believes, to grinding for fans, switching engineers, independently shooting videos, paying out of pocket for it all, the struggles of becoming a star can absolutely be overwhelming! Due to it being a passion and something he loves, every moment has been cherished.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Oddo’s distinct voice, intricate flows, consistency and original creativity, separates the artist massively from the majority. Known for his songs such as “Speak Up”, “Pour It Up” & “Peanuts to a Giant” just to name a few; the evidence lives in his music.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I like the fact that blacks are so free, bold and outspoken here. We live our dreams unapologetically!
I dislike they we follow “what’s trendy” or whoever’s popular; instead of dissecting what’s genuine and beneficial for us as a whole.
