Today we’d like to introduce you to Misha Tuleva.

Hi Misha, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My Story

Beauty, healthy living, and radiant skin have always been passions of mine. I have always believed in a very simple philosophy: beautiful skin is healthy skin, and healthy skin is beautiful skin. When we care for our skin and our overall well-being, that beauty becomes something much deeper than a temporary glow, it becomes part of how we age and how we feel about ourselves.

My journey began in Europe, where I received my education, including a medical background, and advanced my training to the Master Esthetician level. I also had the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced professionals in cosmetic surgery. Those experiences shaped the way I look at skin today. I became fascinated not simply with making someone look better for a day, but with understanding how we can progressively improve the quality, texture, resilience and appearance of the skin.

Skin transformation became my passion.

I love working with concerns ranging from visible signs of aging and acne scarring to discoloration, uneven texture, compromised skin barriers and other challenging skin conditions. I became especially passionate about improving the appearance of skin tissue, firmness and facial contours through advanced, customized skincare techniques and non-surgical lifting approaches.

My goal has always been the same: to help people achieve skin that looks exceptionally healthy, smooth, luminous and naturally youthful, the beautiful glass-like skin that has become part of my signature philosophy.

From Europe to Beverly Hills

Eventually, life brought me to Los Angeles, together with two very special members of my family: my beautiful dogs, Ricky, a Golden Retriever, and Rexy, a Belgian Shepherd long hair.

Starting again in a new country was an important chapter in my life.

I completed the requirements for my California license and continued my education in Advanced Clinical Aesthetics, expanding my knowledge so I could develop increasingly sophisticated, customized approaches for clients with different skin concerns.

Then I opened MT SKIN CLINIC in Beverly Hills.

What began with my passion for helping individual clients has developed into a private destination centered around European-inspired skin transformation and highly personalized care.

I don’t believe every person should receive the same facial or follow the same skincare routine. Every skin has a history. Every client has different concerns, lifestyle factors and goals. That is why my approach is built around customized programs rather than a one-size-fits-all treatment.

Today, my work includes advanced corrective skincare, acne and post-acne care, support for the appearance of scars and uneven texture, pigmentation-focused care, intensive hydration and barrier recovery, anti-aging programs, facial sculpting and non-surgical lifting techniques.

For clients who want significant change, I also create longer-term Skin Transformation Programs, combining professional sessions with carefully selected home care.

Healthy Skin Starts With a Healthy Skin Barrier

Working with clients also revealed something I see repeatedly: many people are doing too much to their skin.

Over-exfoliation, aggressive actives and complicated routines can leave the skin looking irritated, dehydrated and unbalanced. People sometimes continue adding stronger products when what their skin actually needs is support and recovery.

This became one of the inspirations behind MT SKIN CLINIC PRO, my professional skincare collection.

My philosophy is simple:

Healthy skin starts with a healthy skin barrier.

The collection was created around high-quality skincare ingredients including Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Vitamin B5, Collagen, Peptides and Antioxidants, ingredients selected to support hydration, smoother-looking texture, radiance and a healthy-looking complexion.

I like to think of the formulas as a sophisticated cocktail of beauty for women and men, bringing together modern skincare ingredients with the experience I have gained from working directly with real skin.

Recognition That Means So Much to Me

One of the most rewarding moments in this journey has been seeing clients happy with their skin and sharing their experiences.

That recognition helped MT SKIN CLINIC receive the distinction of being named among the Top 3 Skin Care Clinics in Beverly Hills for 2025.

For me, recognition is wonderful, but what matters most is what happens when someone looks in the mirror and feels confident about their skin again.

That is why I continue learning, developing and collaborating with professionals in Beverly Hills, including cosmetic-surgery and dermatology specialists when appropriate. My goal is to bring together my European foundation, California advanced-aesthetics training, professional skincare and customized protocols to provide an exceptional level of care.

And I am still building.

Alongside expanding MT SKIN CLINIC PRO, I am exploring the development of a future medical skincare collection in collaboration with a physician, bringing another dimension to the brand.

But regardless of how much the company grows, I never want to lose the philosophy with which I started:

Quality. Excellence. Healthy Skin.

I want women and men to understand that beautiful skin isn’t about hiding imperfections. It is about improving the health and quality of the skin you already have.

My greatest satisfaction is helping someone transform problematic, tired or compromised-looking skin into skin that appears healthier, smoother, firmer and beautifully radiant.

Because when skin is truly healthy, the glow speaks for itself.

Where Skincare Meets a Love for Animals: The Story of MiReRi

There is another part of the MT SKIN CLINIC story that is deeply personal to me.

When I moved to Los Angeles, I didn’t come alone. My beautiful dogs, Rexy and Ricky, came with me, and they became part of this journey from the very beginning.

Ricky, my Golden Retriever, and Rexy, my Belgian Shepherd, didn’t simply stay at home while Mommy went to work. They loved coming to MT SKIN CLINIC with me.

They became part of our clinic family.

Over the years, they met so many of my clients. They brought warmth, happiness and an incredible energy into the clinic. Clients from Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, throughout California and even visitors from outside the area would meet them and immediately fall in love with them.

There is something beautiful about animals: they don’t care who you are, what you look like or where you come from. They simply give love.

And Rexy and Ricky gave a lot of it.

The Most Painful Chapter

Sadly, at the beginning of 2026, Ricky became very sick.

In March, he spent four days in emergency veterinary care while the doctors tried to save him. Despite everyone’s efforts, my beautiful Ricky passed away.

Losing him was incredibly painful.

When an animal has been beside you through major chapters of your life, that relationship becomes much more than having a pet. They become family. They are there during the difficult days, the exciting days and the ordinary days that, looking back, become some of your most precious memories.

Ricky had been part of my life, my move to America and the story of MT SKIN CLINIC.

I didn’t want his story simply to end.

I wanted to create something beautiful that would keep his memory with me every day while also doing something meaningful for other animals.

And that is how MiReRi was born.

The name itself tells our family story:

Mi – Misha
Re – Rexy
Ri – Ricky

It is more than the name of a skincare collection to me. It represents love, family, beautiful skin and the extraordinary bond between people and their animals.

And Ricky will always be part of it.

Through MiReRi, he will always come to work with Mommy & Rexy, and he will be loved FOREVER. ❤️🐶

My vision is to create MiReRi as beautiful, high-quality skincare for women and men who care about their skin, and especially for people who understand how much our animals can mean to us.

The packaging will carry that story as well. Rexy and Ricky will become part of the MiReRi designs, together with another very special member of my family, Mishi, my beautiful Persian cat who was part of my life before them.

In this way, the animals I have loved become part of something created with love.

Beauty With a Mission

But I want MiReRi to represent more than beautiful packaging and beautiful skin.

I want it to have a purpose.

My vision is for $1 from every MiReRi product sold to be dedicated to supporting animal shelters and helping animals in need.

Imagine purchasing something wonderful for your own skin while knowing that your purchase is also contributing, in a small but meaningful way, to the life of an animal waiting to be cared for, protected or loved.

That is the heart of MiReRi:

Beautiful Skin. Beautiful Hearts. Beautiful Purpose.

It brings together two enormous passions in my life: skin transformation and my love for animals.

And one day, I hope the story can grow even further. I would love to develop a carefully considered collection specifically for pets, expanding the MiReRi mission from products inspired by the animals we love to products created for them as well.

There is still so much work ahead of me.

MT SKIN CLINIC continues to grow. MT SKIN CLINIC PRO continues to develop. MiReRi is beginning its own journey, and there are many more ideas that I hope to bring to life.

But MiReRi will always be different.

It started not in a boardroom or from a marketing trend.

It started with love.

It started with a woman, two extraordinary dogs who came to work with Mommy, a little Persian cat who will always be remembered, and the desire to turn the pain of losing Ricky into something positive that could help other animals.

Ricky may no longer walk through the doors of MT SKIN CLINIC with Rexy and me.

But through MiReRi, he will always come to work with Mommy.

And wherever this brand goes in the world, a little piece of him will go with it.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Obstacles / Challenges

It has certainly not always been a smooth road, but I think challenges reveal how strongly you believe in yourself and in what you have chosen to do with your life.

When I came from Europe to Los Angeles, I trusted my education, my experience and the quality of my work. I knew that if I had been able to help people with their skin in Europe, I could help people in Los Angeles as well.

I remember thinking: skin is skin everywhere in the world.

The anatomy doesn’t change because you cross an ocean. What makes the difference is the professional behind the treatment, the knowledge to observe the skin, understand what it needs, recognize what may be compromising it and know how to create the right customized approach.

I believed in that knowledge, and I believed in myself.

And throughout this journey, I had two very special supporters by my side: Rexy and Ricky. They came with me through so many chapters of my life and became part of the journey of MT SKIN CLINIC® as well. They loved coming to work with Mommy, meeting my clients and bringing happiness into the clinic. In their own beautiful way, they supported me through the good days and the difficult ones, and reminded me that there was always love waiting beside me 🐶❤️🐕

Of course, moving to another country also meant adapting. English is not my native language, and yes, I have a European accent, which, to my surprise, many of my clients actually love.., but I also speak five languages, and I am proud of my European background. I continue improving every day. I have never allowed language or an accent to determine the level of what I can accomplish.

When Your Passion Becomes Your Profession

Many years ago, I learned a saying that stayed with me:

“Make your passion your profession, and you will never feel like you are working a day in your life.”

That describes me perfectly.

I genuinely love what I do.

When I am studying someone’s skin, working with my hands, developing a transformation program or seeing a client’s complexion become healthier, smoother and more radiant, it doesn’t feel like simply performing a job. I am doing something I love.

That passion helped me through one of the greatest challenges our industry faced: COVID-19.

For professionals whose work depended on close personal contact, the pandemic was devastating. Restrictions and shutdowns created an extraordinarily difficult period for beauty and skincare businesses. My ability to work was severely affected for many months, and like so many small-business owners, I had to find a way forward.

You can rebuild revenue, but you can never get those months of your life and business back.

Still, I refused to give up.

I have always tried to remain positive and believe that even difficult situations can open another door.

And one did.

Turning a Difficult Period Into an Opportunity to Learn

As medical practices were able to resume operations sooner than many skincare businesses, I had the opportunity to work with a highly respected dermatologist and surgeon whose practice was known for exceptional work, including caring for a high-profile clientele.

What could have simply been remembered as one of the hardest periods of my career became another important chapter in my professional development.

I gained valuable experience working in that environment for several years while continuing to maintain MT SKIN CLINIC®.

After COVID, there was a period when I was essentially working two jobs. It wasn’t easy, but I felt that I had lost so much professional time during the pandemic that I wanted to move forward as strongly as possible.

Looking back, I am grateful I did.

Every challenge added another layer to my experience.

From Surviving to Growing

Today, I don’t spend much time looking backward. I am much more excited about what comes next.

Seeing MT SKIN CLINIC® recognized among the Top 3 Skin Care Clinics in Beverly Hills for 2025 was an incredibly meaningful milestone for me. To come from Europe, establish myself in Los Angeles, survive the pandemic years and continue building a reputation in Beverly Hills makes that recognition especially meaningful.

But I don’t consider it the finish line.

I consider it the beginning of the next chapter.

Today, I have clients who travel to see me specifically because they want my hands, my experience and my personalized approach to their skin. That is one of the greatest compliments a professional can receive.

My ambition now is to help many more people, women and men who are dealing with challenging skin concerns as well as those who simply want to preserve beautiful, youthful, healthy-looking skin for as long as possible.

There are tremendous opportunities ahead for MT SKIN CLINIC®, MT SKIN CLINIC PRO™, and now MiReRi™.

I want to continue developing advanced Skin Transformation Programs, creating exceptional skincare, collaborating with respected professionals and expanding the work I started one client at a time.

Challenges taught me something very important:

Expertise gave me the foundation. Passion gave me the courage. Resilience kept me moving forward.

And now, I am looking toward the future with one goal to take everything I have learned and use it to help more people achieve healthier, more beautiful skin.

Because after everything I have experienced, I still wake up loving what I do.

And I think that is one of the greatest definitions of success.

My philosophy begins with assessment, not assumption.

Every complexion has its own history. Age, lifestyle, hydration, sensitivity, pigmentation, acne history, scarring, texture, environmental exposure, home-care habits and the integrity of the skin barrier can all influence what I see when a client arrives.

That is why I don’t believe sophisticated skincare should begin with a predetermined treatment.

It should begin with understanding the skin in front of you.

People travel for weddings, vacations, business, entertainment, photoshoots, celebrations and important events. They choose beautiful hotels, wonderful restaurants, fitness and wellness experiences, so why shouldn’t exceptional skincare become part of that journey?

I see this as the future of modern luxury:

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
If I am asked who else deserves credit for the success of MT SKIN CLINIC®, my answer begins with the people who have trusted me with their skin:

My clients.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with so many wonderful women and men. I have seen people look into the mirror after a treatment with tears of happiness in their eyes. I have watched clients touch their faces, look again, smile and tell me they cannot believe the transformation they already see.

Those moments are unforgettable.

But I always tell my clients something very important:

“We are a team.”

I can do my work hands-on at MT SKIN CLINIC®, but lasting skin transformation continues after the client leaves my treatment room.

My responsibility is to carefully observe and understand the unique skin in front of me, its type, condition, tone, concerns, sensitivity, hydration, texture, thickness, barrier condition, lifestyle and history, and then determine what I believe that individual skin needs.

There is no universal formula.

Every skin has its own story, and every skin deserves its own strategy.

In the clinic, I do my part with my hands, my knowledge and my experience.

At home, my client continues our work through the skincare routine I have personally customized for them.

That is why I call it teamwork.

We Don’t Work for One Session. We Work for Transformation.

A beautiful visible result after one facial treatment is exciting and I love seeing that happiness on someone’s face.

But I don’t want my clients to think only about one facial treatment session.

We are not working for one beautiful session. We are working toward a skin transformation.

Healthy-looking, radiant skin requires consistency.

Skin needs time to respond. When it has been stressed or over-treated, it may need time and appropriate care to recover and rebuild its barrier. When we are working on texture, hydration, pigmentation, congestion, visible signs of aging or overall skin quality, progress is something we build together.

My goal is not simply to create a temporary glow.

I want to help my clients work toward skin that appears healthier, smoother, more balanced, hydrated, radiant and beautifully maintained over time.

That is the deeper mission of MT SKIN CLINIC® and of my life’s work in skin transformation.

What makes me especially proud is that this philosophy isn’t only something I say about my business.

It is what my clients say about their experience.

They mention the explanations and education they receive, the home-care recommendations, the attention, and most importantly.., the changes they see in their skin.

To me, that is incredibly meaningful.

I tell my clients:
