Check Out Polina URA Herman’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Polina URA Herman.

Hi Polina URA, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story has never been about following a traditional path. It has always been about discovering who I truly am and finding the courage to create a life that reflects that truth.

I was born in Ukraine, where my creative journey began. For the past 14 years, I have been working as an independent film producer, bringing stories to life through cinema. Filmmaking has always been much more than a profession to me. It is a way to explore human nature, emotions, choices, and the invisible forces that shape our lives.

I have always believed that stories have the power to transform people. What I didn’t realize back then was that one day, my own life would become the most important story I would ever have to transform.

A few years ago, I moved to Los Angeles with my son. We arrived without knowing anyone and with virtually no English. I had to build a completely new life in a country where everything was unfamiliar, from the language and culture to the professional environment.

Los Angeles challenged me in ways I could never have imagined. It pushed me outside my comfort zone, confronted me with my fears, and forced me to question everything I thought I knew about success, identity, and purpose.

But the real turning point came after a serious car accident in Los Angeles.

I found myself driving against traffic on a freeway, in a situation where I could have lost my life and caused the deaths of other people.

It was one of the most frightening and profound experiences of my life.

And for me, it became much more than an accident. It was a powerful metaphor for the direction of my life.

I remember realizing that I wasn’t just driving in the wrong direction on the freeway. Somewhere along the way, I had also started moving in the wrong direction in my own life.

That moment changed something deep inside me.

I began asking myself questions I had never truly stopped to answer: Who am I beyond my achievements? Am I living the life I genuinely want? Am I following my own path, or simply fulfilling expectations? And what am I really here to create?

Those questions led me into a much deeper journey of self-discovery, psychology, spiritual exploration, and personal transformation.

Over time, I realized that my passion for understanding human beings was no longer limited to telling their stories through film. I wanted to help people transform the stories they were living.

That realization inspired me to become a life coach and deepen my studies in psychology.

Today, my mission is to help people awaken to their own potential, reconnect with their authentic selves, release limiting beliefs, and begin consciously creating their lives.

At the same time, I continue to express this philosophy through different creative projects.

I am a film producer, an author, a life coach, and the founder of HerMan, a conscious clothing brand built around the philosophy “I AM THE CREATOR OF MY REALITY.”

I also created “I AM,” a transformational self-discovery game that helps people explore their inner world, recognize their potential, and reconnect with who they truly are.

At first glance, filmmaking, coaching, fashion, and transformational experiences may seem like completely different worlds. But to me, they are all expressions of the same mission: awakening human consciousness through creativity.

Los Angeles didn’t simply become my new home. It became the place where I began to meet a new version of myself.

And perhaps the most beautiful realization of this journey is that we don’t have to remain the person we once were. We are allowed to change direction, reinvent ourselves, and begin again.

After all, I spent 14 years helping bring stories to the screen. Today, I am equally passionate about helping people become the conscious authors of their own stories.

And I feel that my own story is only just beginning.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all. And looking back, I think the most meaningful parts of my journey were born from the moments when life was anything but smooth.

One of my biggest challenges was starting over in Los Angeles with my son. Imagine leaving behind a country where you’ve spent years building your career, your reputation, and your entire world, and arriving somewhere you barely speak the language, know almost no one, and have to rebuild everything from scratch.

I had already spent 14 years working in independent filmmaking, a world I knew and loved. Suddenly, I found myself in a completely different reality, where my previous achievements didn’t necessarily open the same doors.

There were moments of loneliness, uncertainty, financial pressure, and fear. As a mother, I couldn’t afford to think only about myself. I had another human being depending on me, and that responsibility pushed me to keep moving forward even when I didn’t know what the next step would look like.

But perhaps the hardest challenge wasn’t adapting to a new country. It was realizing that the version of myself I had spent years building no longer fully reflected the person I was becoming.

For a long time, I believed that strength meant pushing harder, achieving more, and always having a plan. Los Angeles taught me something different. Sometimes real strength means stopping, questioning everything, and having the courage to change direction.

My car accident became a particularly powerful turning point. It forced me to confront how fragile life is and how easily we can lose ourselves while chasing what we believe we are supposed to achieve.

That experience didn’t magically change my life overnight. Real transformation rarely happens that way. It took time, uncomfortable questions, inner work, and the willingness to let go of old identities.

I had to learn how to trust myself again, not because everything around me was stable, but because I was developing a deeper sense of stability within myself.

And that is exactly what eventually inspired my work as a life coach.

Today, I don’t see my struggles as failures or obstacles that delayed my success. I see them as experiences that gave my work depth, compassion, and meaning.

I still face challenges. I’m still building, learning, and evolving. But I’ve stopped waiting for life to become perfect before allowing myself to feel fulfilled.

If my journey has taught me anything, it’s that sometimes life has to take you completely off your planned route so you can finally discover your own.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My professional journey began in the film industry in Ukraine, where I built my career as a producer and eventually expanded into international filmmaking. Today, my professional portfolio includes 35 films, and I continue developing international projects through my production company, UP USA STUDIO. https://www.upusastudio.com My work in cinema, including projects produced through UP UA STUDIO https://www.upua.com.ua/, has given me the opportunity to collaborate with creative professionals across different countries and cultures. Cinema taught me something invaluable: every powerful story begins with a character who is ready to change. Over time, I became increasingly interested in what happens when we apply that same principle to real life.

This curiosity became the foundation of my work as a life coach.

Today, coaching is at the heart of my professional life. I help people move beyond limiting beliefs, reconnect with their authentic selves, discover their unique potential, and create meaningful changes in their lives.

My approach combines psychology, transformational practices, deep self-inquiry, and practical action. With 19 years of personal and professional exploration in human development, I have come to believe that lasting transformation begins when we change the relationship we have with ourselves.

I believe that most people don’t lack talent, intelligence, or opportunities. What they often lack is permission to fully become themselves. They spend years living according to expectations, inherited beliefs, and identities that no longer reflect who they truly are.

My mission is to help people recognize those patterns, reconnect with their inner strength, and move from self-doubt to confident, conscious action. https://astonishing-share-dcb.notion.site/d1dffc369f5a82329f4f01090739e489

I am particularly passionate about working with people at turning points in their lives: those navigating personal reinvention, relationships, career transitions, or the desire to finally pursue something they’ve been postponing for years.

One of my signature creations is I AM, an original transformational coaching game that helps participants explore their inner world, recognize unconscious patterns, gain clarity, and translate personal insights into real-life decisions.

What began as an interactive transformational experience has now evolved into a digital application, allowing people to engage with the game and continue their journey of self-discovery from anywhere in the world.

For me, this represents an exciting new direction in coaching: making powerful tools for self-exploration and personal growth more accessible beyond traditional one-on-one sessions.

I also created HerMan, a conscious clothing brand built around the philosophy “I AM THE CREATOR OF MY REALITY.” Through fashion, I wanted to bring the same message I share in my coaching practice into everyday life: that our identity, choices, and self-expression are all part of the reality we create.

Although filmmaking, coaching, technology, and fashion may seem like different industries, everything I do is connected by one central idea: human transformation and the freedom to become the author of your own life.

Here is information about all my projects : https://linktr.ee/PolinaUraHerman?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAcGRvZgJzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA85MzY2MTk3NDMzOTI0NTkAAafxJfVghyFYwdC0Ie2bjZDT-DjgMsU0WnQBlpKSdmOmgL2mOco4ptNsHaqBVg_aem_LthKsAheSoCoDqm2IRnftA

Today, my greatest professional fulfillment comes not from the number of projects I’ve created, but from witnessing someone recognize their own potential, overcome internal limitations, and begin building a life that genuinely reflects who they are.

I don’t believe people need to become someone else to create an extraordinary life. I believe they need to discover who they truly are and give themselves permission to live accordingly.

That is the essence of my coaching philosophy and the message I want to share with the world.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
believe the most important quality behind my success is my ability to see possibilities where others see limitations.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned to recognize potential, whether it’s in a story that hasn’t been told yet, a creative project that seems impossible, or a person who has forgotten how extraordinary they truly are.

Producing 35 films taught me how to turn a vision into reality, lead people through uncertainty, and bring something meaningful into the world. But my work as a life coach has given that ability an even deeper purpose.

Today, one of my greatest strengths is helping people see what they cannot yet see in themselves.

I believe that many people are not lacking talent, intelligence, or opportunities. They are simply living within invisible limitations created by fear, past experiences, and beliefs about who they are allowed to become.

My work is about helping them recognize those patterns, reconnect with their authentic identity, and transform self-awareness into real decisions and meaningful action.

I don’t believe personal growth should become an endless process of fixing yourself. I believe there comes a moment when you realize that you are already worthy, already capable, and already allowed to create the life you desire.

That’s the philosophy behind my coaching, my transformational game I AM, and everything I create.

What makes my approach different is that I combine the mindset of a producer, the understanding of human psychology, and nearly two decades of personal exploration and transformational practice. I don’t just help people dream bigger. I help them begin to live differently.

And perhaps the most rewarding part of my work is witnessing that moment when someone stops asking, “Am I good enough?” and starts asking, “What am I ready to create?”

Because ultimately, I measure success not only by what I have accomplished, but by how many people I’ve helped recognize their own power to create.
