Today we’d like to introduce you to Moses Lopez.
Hi Moses, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
It’s 2022 at a Blackpink concert in Los Angeles that I first noticed social media marketing in action. iPhones, DSLR and mirror less cameras etc. being wielded by staff wearing touring merchandise and plastic lanyards that read “Artist.” Their eyes were focused on capturing every detail and they knew exactly when to record whether it be a quick video or prolonged shot. It was art and I was hooked. I knew that someone I wanted to be in their place, touring with a k-pop group or working in the entertainment industry as part of a social media team. Fast forward to 2026 and currently I am the Social Media and Marketing manager for a sports physical therapy clinic plus I am both a micro influencer and freelance creative. Most of my content is k-pop related but I also do lifestyle and coffeeshop content. I am currently in the process of officially creating my own LLC that will focus on social media and marketing creative consulting. Further, my next goal is to also land a job in the entertainment industry to continue to hone my skills as a social media manager and one day a chief marketing officer. What drives me is the memory of my dad who passed away tragically 4 years ago. He always encouraged my creativity and everything I am and do is to honor his memory. As a creative I am able to tell stories through video or photography that showcase a part of who I am , but also give me the opportunity to share what I love with others. I enjoy it so much and know that I have found my niche and place. While it took a while I am grateful for the journey and can’t wait to see what comes next.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The passing of my dad took my family by surprise and even today it has been difficult to knowing that there will always be an empty chair at a restaurant , at home and void that will never be filled. It was a drastic change that we are still adapting too but more ways than one has made me stronger and motivates me to continue to push forward to achieve my goals and bring some positivity to the world through my creativity. I hope that through my content I am able to bring some joy to peoples lives even when I myself don’t experience joy because I have learned that when share we heal. I am also very hard on myself and that leads to self-doubt and overthinking. It’s a constant battle but I am slowly learning to be gentle with myself and love myself as I am as that is what makes me , me and that is worth celebrating everyday. My content is a way also of healing from the loss of my dad and an avenue to express myself to the world. It allows me to create art that embodies part of who I am and my view of the world around me. I love it !
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am in the social media marketing and content creation industry. I love telling stories through art whether that is through short or long form video or photography. Most of my content is about all things k-pop though I also sprinkle in some lifestyle and coffeeshop content. I also a micro influencer and I am known for posting about k-pop girls groups and showcasing them to established fans and those who are new to k-pop. My goal is to share my love for k-pop with others and also using a way to connect fans from all over the world who share the same interest. My content is part of who I am , it’s a reflection of what I aspire to be and that is a creative who brings positivity to the world around me and connects people through shared interests. Before anything I am a fan of k-pop and hope that by understanding the intricacies of k-pop fandom that I can connect fans through my content and find ways to make it interactive for them as well. The hope is that k-pop fans find in my content, joy and connection. I truly believe in connecting and relationship building. Life is meant to be a shared experience and not be done alone , I hope that my content is able to bridge that gap.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Honestly, just start , don’t overthink too much. If you have a great idea for a service or product go out and do it. Don’t wait till it’s the right moment because it might not arrive, you have to go out there and pardon for the cliche but take my life by the horns. Life is not going to wait for you to be ready , you have to take the initiative. Part of the process is the journey and some days you will want to give up , but rest assured that the sacrifices you make to get to your goal are all worth it. At first, you might not see results but just keep pushing forward , consistency is key to success. Day in and day out , you have to put in the work. Also don’t be afraid to evolve as time and experience can change the way we think and that is totally okay. Enjoy the process and watch yourself grow into the person you were meant to be. Never be afraid to make mistakes as that is how you grow and will make a better professional and person. Also always make sure you have a support group of people whether that be your family or friends or mentors because they are the ones who will always be there for you and will cheer you on.
