Life & Work with Alexis Hunter of Greater Palm Springs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Hunter.

Hi Alexis, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I wrote a book which was published in 2015 about my relationship with blonde bombshell sex symbol Joi Lansing. We were together until her death at the age of 43. My book is in the process of being made into a film. Petra haffter is screenwriting and directing the film. I’ve won two awards for my book.

My main career is designing and making wearable art jewelry.. my designs are in Nicole’s on El paseo in Palm Desert California.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve been very fortunate that people have loved and accepted my book and sales have been wonderful. The first publisher who saw my manuscript agreed to publish and to make it into an ebook and audiobook.

My wearable art jewelry is doing very well and sales are amazing. I am so grateful for my Good Fortune with both of my enterprises.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I absolutely love what I do. There’s nothing I enjoy more than creating a special piece of wearable art for a client. I love spending time with my customer and asking questions about what they would want in a in a statement piece that would reflect things that they love. I especially love taking pieces of sentimental value such as an earring, pendant or charms dear to that person and making them something they will treasure.
I spend many hours searching for things that will make customer happy. Each Wearable Art necklace is unique and one of a kind.
