Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacey Hayden.
Hi jacey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
The Story Behind Vita Beata Swim
Vita Beata Swim was born during a season of rediscovery. After becoming a mother, I found myself longing to reconnect with a part of me that had always been there — the creative, intuitive side that had always dreamed of bringing my visions to life.
Having spent years as a model, I was accustomed to being in studios, surrounded by the creative process, collaborating with talented people, and watching ideas transform into something tangible. But behind the camera, I had always carried my own passion for design and a desire to create something that felt deeply personal to me.
Postpartum became a turning point — an opportunity to return to my roots, trust my instincts, and finally give life to the ideas I had been carrying in my mind for years. Vita Beata Swim became a natural extension of that journey: a reflection of my love for design, femininity, and the beauty of bringing a vision into reality. The entire idea of Vita Beata Swim is that sexy is an energy, not a bodytype.
What began as a desire to reconnect with myself has grown into something much bigger — a brand built from instinct, passion, and the belief that the most meaningful creations often begin with simply daring to bring an idea to life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building Vita Beata Swim has been one of the most rewarding experiences, but it has also come with a lot of learning curves. Starting a business from the ground up, with very little guidance and no real idea of how to navigate the world of manufacturing, production, and everything that comes with building a brand, has been a journey in itself. I love learning and seeing the progress though.
At the end of the day, I believe in what I’m creating, and that belief has kept me going through every obstacle. Building a brand isn’t always easy or straightforward, but learning to navigate the difficult parts has become just as much a part of the journey as bringing the vision itself to life.

My Career in the Industry
I’ve been in the modelling industry since I was just one year old, starting with my very first commercial and growing up in front of the camera. What began so early in life naturally evolved into a career of its own, eventually leading me to work with prestigious modelling agencies in Los Angeles and opening doors to opportunities and experiences that have shaped who I am today.
As the industry evolved, so did I. I found a natural love for content creation and influencing on Instagram at a time when it felt like an exciting new way to express myself creatively, connect with people, and build something beyond traditional modelling. It allowed me to develop my own voice and perspective while continuing to work within an industry I’ve always loved. I’m still represented today by an agent based in Paris, and modelling remains a meaningful part of my professional life.
Looking back, what I’m most proud of isn’t necessarily any single campaign or achievement, but the longevity of my career and the relationships I’ve built along the way. Having been part of this industry for so much of my life, I feel incredibly grateful for the friendships, connections, and creative collaborations it has brought me. The people I’ve met and the things we’ve created together have been some of the most rewarding parts of the journey.
The industry has taught me so much about creativity, resilience, adaptability, and the importance of evolving with the times while staying true to yourself. It has brought out so much self expression and taught me to embrace the femininity and sexyness within myself. It has also given me a unique perspective on the creative process, from being in front of the camera to developing my own ideas behind the scenes. In many ways, these experiences have shaped the way I approach everything I do today, including building my own brand, Vita Beata Swim.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I envision my business growing into a well-recognized swimwear brand that reflects my creativity, passion, and vision of feeling beautiful in your own light. One of my biggest dreams is to showcase my collections at Miami Swim Week, bringing my designs to a wider audience and establishing my place in the swimwear industry. I also see the brand expanding into boutiques, both locally and internationally, allowing more people to discover and connect with my designs. Ultimately, I want to build a successful, recognizable brand that continues to grow while staying true to its identity, quality, and the vision that inspired me to start it.
