Life & Work with Greg Zopke of Los Angeles & Paris

Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg Zopke.

Hi Greg, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Zopke, a French music producer, composer, and sound engineer based between Paris and Los Angeles. My journey started with a passion for sound and a desire to create music that makes people feel something. Over the years, I’ve developed my career across music production, mixing, mastering, and sound design, while gaining experience working with music companies such as BMG and Warner Music. Today, I collaborate with independent artists and contribute to projects across the music and entertainment industries, including productions for Netflix, Lionsgate, and Paramount. As a GRAMMY member, I’m continuing to push my creativity, build meaningful collaborations, and create music that leaves a lasting impression.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road. Building an independent career in the music industry means constantly adapting, facing uncertainty, and learning how to balance the creative side with the business side. I’ve had to navigate a highly competitive industry, build relationships from scratch, and create opportunities for myself rather than wait for them to come. There have been setbacks and moments of doubt, but they’ve taught me resilience, independence, and the importance of staying true to my vision. I think those challenges have shaped me as both a person and a producer, and they continue to motivate me to aim higher.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a music producer, composer, and sound engineer specializing in music production, vocal production, mixing, mastering, and sound design. I’ve collaborated with music companies including BMG and Warner Music, with my work featured in Netflix productions such as *Love Is Blind*, *The Ultimatum*, and *Deep Fake Love*, as well as projects associated with Lionsgate and Paramount. I’ve also released two sample packs on Splice, expanding my work into sound design and music production tools for other creators.

One of my proudest achievements is building my own independent business and developing a career that bridges music creation and the entertainment industry. Becoming a GRAMMY member is another important milestone in my journey.

What sets me apart is my ability to combine creative vision with technical precision, working across the entire process from production to the final master. I’m passionate about creating distinctive, emotionally driven music that connects with people and helps artists bring their vision to life.

Any big plans?
My main goal is to keep growing my business beyond music production by developing new creative products, including sample packs and my own audio plugins. I enjoy building things from the ground up and handling every aspect myself, from the creative work to the technical development and business strategy. I’m constantly learning new skills to expand what I can do and create new opportunities for myself.

Ultimately, one of my biggest ambitions is to win a GRAMMY®. That’s why I submitted my latest Latin pop EP, *AURA*, for GRAMMY® consideration. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me, continue pushing my creative boundaries, and build a business that combines music, technology, and entrepreneurship.
