Daily Inspiration: Meet Ozzy Alice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ozzy Alice.

Hi Ozzy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Started producing in middle school and kept going through high school, started releasing music after I graduated. I was nervous so I waited until then to put myself out there. I stopped producing in favor of other peoples beats cause I wasn’t very confident, but I grew to get that practice back and starting producing again in late 2024 – early 2025, from there I made a self produced album called MOB and just released it in August 2026. It’s been a ride of a lot of learning and finding my confidence and identity. I feel I’ve taken a lot of positive steps toward that especially lately.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been very bumpy with a lot of gaps, unexpected shit, you know the whole deal. I think it’s mostly been hard due to me not fully trusting myself with. my work but after a lot of searching, I feel a lot better and in a better place artistically.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Im a rapper and producer. I self produce a lot of my music and mix it myself. I also direct all my videos which is something I can be a bit more stubborn on. I’m a director and writer outside of music and plan to expand that further each year, especially the coming one. I hope i’m known for an authentic style of unique and surreal material. I enjoy the weirder things. Tryna indulge in that more and be less afraid to show that part of myself. Dirty my art up a bit. I’m most proud of my journey, it took a lot of work regardless of my place. I’m proiud of peers too because they’ve inspired me just as much.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Trust your instincts and don’t be afraid of mistakes. Just make and let the rest sort itself out. Through experience I’ve learned a lot with over correction, it’s so easy to strive for perfectionism, I think especially now, just aim for your truth, perfect or not. As long as its honest.
