Conversations with Septimius The Great

Today we’d like to introduce you to Septimius The Great.

Hi Septimius, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
From the streets of Baltimore, MD in Park Heights, I was raised and came into my own. The Son of a single mother that was struggling with Alcoholism and Depression and absent father – I pretty much raised myself with friends as my family. I started my journey with dreams of another life which allowed me to evolve 7 times so far in my life

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a struggle with growing with no guardrails to help guide me so I made alot of bad decisions but also discovered alot of good things as well. My struggle was learning what family was, Missing out on togetherness, finding a team/family, finding my purpose and never hearing the word no or you can’t do or that’s wrong

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Started as a model in a high school fashion show which pushed me into local fashion show production, This lead to event planning which lead to being a entrepreneur in the Baltimore community. Then a model for a group representing Baltimore to the east coast. Then forming my own mentor and modeling which lead me to performing on stages all around USA. this lead to me being into male pageantry on a international level, which led me to create Septimius The Great – Model, Music Artist, Actor, Fashion Curator, Author, Screenwriter and Film maker. Most proud of my awards and accomplishment such as a 1 Grammy winner and recognized as a 5 time Grammy nominee, 21 Indie Music Channel awards winner, 5 Akademia Awards, 2 Hall of Fame Winner and appearances on America’s Got Talent, Britain’s Got Talent, Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, Empire TV Show, Rustin the movie, Thirty the film series, Double Dekoi film, Double Crossed to series, and more. From Marlowe Simms to Marlowe Revlon, Marlowe Rainbow to Septimius The Great has been my journey.

What’s next?
My future plans include releasing new music (Fashion Beyond Borders) , showcasing my new fashion collection (Septimius Couture), releasing my new short film and drama series and cartoon animated series, and promoting my new book (Septimius The Great: A Dream Without Fear) then in a few years to create my own entertainment firm for up and coming creatives.
