Meet Kat Guerra of silverlake lol

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kat Guerra.

Hi kat, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
i started at ten, filming GoPro videos of myself attempting trampoline tricks. no tricks were ever learned, but I got obsessed with editing the footage to Skrillex. the obsession never really wore off. video led to photography, photography led to music, and now im in a band lol

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
hahaha, not at all, but delusion is a powerful tool. you know the meme of the guy who stops mining one swing before the diamonds? i kinda feel like him sometimes

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
i make photos, videos, and music.

im proud of my desire for knowledge.

what sets me apart is that I can teach myself anything, while knowing absolutely nothing.

What’s next?
the future isn’t real (yet), so id rather not think about it now.
