Today we’d like to introduce you to Furia Creative.
Hi Furia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Furia Creative was founded by Laura Del Mar, a Colombian actress and producer based in Los Angeles.
It started from my desire to tell my own stories and produce my own projects, but also to help others bring their ideas to life through a creative, practical, and collaborative approach to production.
The name FURIA represents the passion and determination that we, as Latinos, bring to everything we do. It’s that drive to work hard, dream big, overcome challenges, and take on the world.
What started as a personal need to create has grown into a production company focused on bringing stories and ideas to life, both our own and those of the people we collaborate with. We’re continuing to grow, take on new projects, and build meaningful relationships along the way.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a long road, and definitely not always a smooth one. You can’t just move to a new city, start a business, and expect everything to fall into place. Maybe that works for some people, but it definitely wasn’t my experience.
First, I had to get to know Los Angeles, build friendships, make connections, work as a producer, and understand the industry and the market around me. And honestly, I’m still learning every day.
Like any business, FURIA has had its ups and downs. When I first started, I had the idea and the motivation, but I didn’t really know where to begin or who to offer our services to. Eventually, I realized that instead of waiting for opportunities, I needed to create them. So I started developing and producing my own projects, not only to grow as an actress and producer, but also to establish FURIA as a company that creates and produces original work.
Now, after producing several projects and building relationships along the way, new clients are starting to find us organically, which is really exciting.
It’s been a long process, and there’s still so much to learn, but I’ve never felt the need to rush it. I’d rather take my time, build something solid, and make sure we’re doing things right.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At FURIA, we specialize in creative production, working on both narrative and commercial projects. What sets us apart is our ability to combine creativity with practical solutions, always making sure we understand the vision behind each project.
Right now, I’m especially proud that we recently produced our first short film, which we’re planning to submit to film festivals in 2027. It’s a big milestone for us and an exciting step toward developing more original work.
Above all, I’m proud of building a company that people trust, where creativity, collaboration, and passion are at the heart of everything we do.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something people might not know is that when I created FURIA, I also wanted to build a brand that could go beyond being a production company. I wanted to create an identity that would look just as cool on a T-shirt or a hat as it does on our projects. Something people would actually want to wear because it feels like a reflection of their own personality.
The idea was always for FURIA to be more than a business. I wanted it to feel like a lifestyle, something people could connect with and feel proud to be part of.
