Daily Inspiration: Meet Hannah Marie Muse

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Marie Muse.

Hi Hannah Marie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Wow. What a great question, and there will soon be a movie of my life’s journey out on HBO. The short(ish) version is..

at 17 I graduated high school early, left for college, and then ran away with the circus. I realized a few things – elementary education (as fun as I wanted it to be) was not where I would commit myself.. but education was still very important to me. I helped with a carnival for a long term, learning stilts, making clothes, performing and being a part of a family. It felt so good!! and I’m so grateful for that experience. At the same time, I was in massage school and studying to eventually become a Reiki Master Teacher.

It was all divinely orchestrated. Looking back I can see where I really needed a lot of aspects of my personal mandala to be fulfilled – which are now really working together.

I was still drinking and partying so the performances and the “health and wellness” side of my personality definitely clashed.

I am now celebrating full sobriety, the second year of my cabaret showing!! and a life that actually works for me. I get to perform, host my workshops around relationships, love, and intimacy, make art.. and pretty much live in heaven on earth.

I am beyond blessed and that’s exactly what I share with my clients – I dream of a world where women realize their power to render a life beyond their wildest dreams.

and so it is!!!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
oh my goodness! No.. not smooth. lol

I have boomeranged backwards, I have wanted to quit. I have given up, I have cried.

AND somehow – the light always brings me back to my mission.

I mean, when my mom died before our first show last December, I was wrecked.. coupled with my own character defects of ancient rage and a pension for liking trees more than people – I struggled to ask for help. (luckily, I still got it!)

It took me a full year of remembering who I am to get back “into the game.”

I was still hosting events, still sober and in my practice, but really – disassociated. I am finally feeling myself again (what does that even mean anymore) lol, kidding. I feel grounded, appreciative of the initiation, and ready to continue sharing the wisdom and gifts I’ve received.

My passion for people is there even more so now that I know what it’s like to desperately need people. and I’m so appreciative and blessed and can really feel this quantum leap of sorts. It’s magical to have so much challenges though, because for me, I grew up in chaos – there’s a particular safety I feel with a little chaos in the right spaces.

relationships I like clear, clear and kind…

art == chaos
life == chaos

that’s why we ritualize it! to make sense of it and stay calm. Now that I’m partnered up. I feel a lot more stable and so incredibly, exquisitely delighted to have a teammate that balances my wild with his.. deeply centered nature.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a poet.

It’s so funny, people tell me how wonderful I sing all the time – they call me a singer.

I am a poet who can sing.

I am not a singer.

I love poetry and it’s one of my greatest gifts the goddess has given me. It’s a super natural ability to take mundane and miraculous moments and weave them in such a way that souls are forever awakened and sweetened. I am only a channel for such power because I have chosen to be, but even I am often times surprised at the magic that flows from my lips.

I am most proud of my poetry and the music videos that are combined with them. Everything is very meaningful in my life and its feels so divine to share visual and audible mantra that infiltrates the soul to shine.

I specialize in spaces for education + entertainment. So I use my poetry and melodic, siren ways to create spaces where tantric education (intimacy, relationship magic, and play!) can reign supreme. Presence Playground is my baby! and everyone is invited to join the movement of play as a precursor to pleasure – presence as a precursor to pleasure!!

And then the Cabaret, is my brain child. It’s a part of the Her Temple offerings – we do a yearly cabaret to share about the women’s journeys, inspire men and women to rise together, and show off all the incredible mastery and artistry of the women in the community.
