Today we’d like to introduce you to Danya Gamliel.

Hi Danya, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born in Ukraine into a family where intuition wasn’t unusual, and we came to Australia in the early ’90s after the collapse of the Soviet Union. I’m a fifth-generation psychic, but I also completed a degree in commerce and built a career in finance. I worked in private banking, looking after the portfolios of some of BRW’s Rich 100.

In February 2021, I left banking to do the work I’d always been quietly doing on the side. Amid the lockdowns, I started offering my psychic and ritual services online, and it took off through word of mouth alone. Within months I was booked out well in advance, with clients including celebrities, public figures and royalty.

Today, I work with individuals and businesses, including founders of billion-dollar companies, combining the gift I was born with and the financial literacy I spent my career developing. I’ve been featured in Business Insider, Medium Magazine and Women’s Health, I’m a 2026 Stevie Awards finalist for Female Entrepreneur of the Year, and I’m writing my first book around the energetics and business and how to mirror what the 1% are already doing.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. Leaving a secure, well-paid banking career to openly call myself a psychic was a huge leap, and not everyone around me understood it. For 13 years I’d been quietly using my intuition in a world where compliance meant I couldn’t name it, so stepping out meant owning it publicly for the first time.
I also had to unlearn a lot of my banking conditioning. That world trains you to wait for evidence, and intuition arrives before the evidence does. Learning to trust that again took time.
There was no safety net once I was out on my own. Those pressures shaped how I run it today: with structure, financial discipline and a lot of trust in my own guidance.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a psychic for business, career and wealth. I work with business owners, senior executives and individuals who want clarity on the decisions that shape their finances, their careers and their lives.

My work spans private advisory for business owners and leaders, intuitive readings, and wealth rituals, both private and in live collective sessions held each week. Rituals like Call in Abundance, Retain Wealth and the Money and Business Cleanse have become some of my most loved offerings, and I now serve clients internationally.

What sets me apart is that I sit inside both worlds. I spent 13 years in private banking looking after some of the country’s wealthiest clients, so I understand money, risk and how high-stakes decisions actually get made. I bring that grounding to intuitive work, which means my clients get guidance that’s practical as well as deeply insightful.

Brand wise, I’m most proud that this business was built almost entirely on word of mouth. It’s also been recognised as a finalist in both the 2026 Stevie Awards for Women in Business and the 2026 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favourite childhood memories are of sitting with my grandmother and a traditional deck of playing cards. She taught me the intricacies of each spread, and how every card’s meaning shifted depending on the cards around it and the context of the question.

I also spent many hours alone with the cards, feeling her presence guiding me through this modality.
My grandmother was a kind, beautiful woman with the most extraordinary, magnetic presence. She was also classically beautiful. A great-aunt later told me that artists would ask her to pose as their muse so they could paint her face and silhouette. She was magical yet grounded, and I still feel her presence often today.

She is the one who nurtured my gift, and learning from her will always be my most treasured memory.
