Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Jacoby-Clements.
Hi Gina, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Gina Jacoby-Clements is a sales executive and industry connector with more than 30 years of experience in the spa, wellness, and beauty industries. After beginning her career as a professional makeup artist and owner of two day spas, she went on to lead sales and help scale prominent beauty brands, including Napoleon Perdis, HydroPeptide, and La Bella Donna.
In 2016, Gina founded Revenue of Inspiration, a brand consulting agency that empowers spa professionals and beauty founders through strategic sales, distribution planning, and business development. She later co-founded BRAND [UNCOVER], connecting emerging beauty and wellness brands with top-tier buyers across spa, retail, and lifestyle channels.
Gina is also the co-founder of the SoCal Spa Wellness Collective, a purpose-driven community centered around education, authentic connection, collaboration, and shared growth. Her belief that leaders thrive when they feel supported and inspired is at the heart of the Thrive Leadership Experience.
Fun fact: Gina’s love for old-school rap is rivaled only by her love for her four adorable fur babies—Evelyn, Ali, Marty, and Ray.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not. My path has had plenty of twists, and building a business has meant learning to adapt, take risks, and keep going when results didn’t come as quickly as I hoped. In beauty and wellness, meaningful relationships and lasting growth take time. I’ve had to stay patient, trust what I bring to the table, and keep showing up for the brands and spa professionals I believe in. Each challenge has taught me something and made me more committed to creating the kind of support and community I once wished every leader had.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work is rooted in a simple belief: businesses grow best when the right people, products, and opportunities come together. Through Revenue of Inspiration (ROI), I partner with beauty and wellness brands to help them grow with intention. We offer hands-on support across sales strategy, brand development, distribution, buyer relationships, retail and spa readiness, and team training. Because I’ve worked as a makeup artist, owned day spas, and led brand sales, I understand the opportunities and challenges from both the brand and spa perspectives.
I also co-founded BRAND [UNCOVER], a curated community that helps emerging beauty and wellness brands build meaningful relationships with spa, retail, and lifestyle buyers. We focus on thoughtful introductions and personal support, so brands can find the right partners and grow in ways that fit who they are.
The SoCal Spa Wellness Collective brings spa and wellness professionals and brand partners together through education, resources, mentorship, and experiences designed to encourage real connection and shared growth. Our events, expert-led conversations, member resources, and product discovery experiences help people learn from one another and build relationships that continue beyond a single meeting.
What sets my work apart is that it’s personal, relationship-driven, and grounded in real industry experience. I care about more than making an introduction or opening an account; I want to help create partnerships that are right for both sides and have the support to last.
I’m especially proud of the communities we’ve built through BRAND [UNCOVER] and the SoCal Spa Wellness Collective. Seeing independent brands connect with the right buyers—and spa leaders feel more informed, supported, and valued—is the most meaningful part of what I do. I want readers to know that we’re here to help people grow, but also to make the spa, beauty, and wellness industry feel more connected and collaborative.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is the people in my life and the relationships I build—with my family, friends, team, clients, and the spa and wellness community. I want people to feel seen, encouraged, and supported, and I try to bring that spirit into everything I do.
That’s why I care so deeply about creating genuine connections and helping others succeed. When a founder finds the right opportunity, a spa leader feels supported, or someone on my team recognizes their own potential, it reminds me that success means more when we help one another along the way.
