Today we’d like to introduce you to Tahleek “Tvhleek” Weekes.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve played basketball my whole life, including being a scholarship collegiate athlete. Hard times hit, and my family would become homeless. I dropped out of school, with nowhere to go moved in with my friend who had an extra room in California. Started making music and from there, everything changed. Been making music and growing my brand ever since. Shows all over the U.S and even performance out of the country. Having my music streamed around the world, and constantly growing my fan base.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overcoming financial struggles, living situations. Having the learn how to record and engineer myself during covid. Running my own shows. Tons of money spent on marketing and promotion. So many things

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a performing/recording artist. I make hip hop/rap/R&B music. This is what I’m most known for. I also am heavy in the fitness community and be advocate for working out & health. I’m most proud of being resilient and pushing through all hurdles. Being able to perform in front of hundreds of people. Being able to hear my music played court-side in America and overseas. What sets me apart is my consistency. This year, I’ve posted content for 40 weeks straight, multiple times a week.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love palm trees and the weather. I love being able to connect with others with similar goals and dreams. What I dislike would probably just be being far from where i’m from, New York City.
