Hidden Gems: Meet Natasha Sackx of Sackx Studios

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Sackx.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hello, my name is Natasha Sackx, and my story starts with creativity!

I have always been enamored by the joy creativity brings. I have always enjoyed music, fashion, and the conjunction of the two.

As I got older, I transformed this joy into creative projects, such as music videos, photoshoots, and magazines.

I followed my passion for creativity all the way to Paris, France, where I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Direction and Fashion Styling from Istituto Marangoni. I now live in Los Angeles, California, working with emerging artists on their visual identity and artist branding. I opened my own agency, Sackx Studios, in which I combine all aspects of creative direction for artists!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For the most part, my journey has been a smooth road. I would say it’s more of a linear road with some turbulence along the way. However, that is normal in the creative field. Some struggles I’ve faced along the way have been what naturally comes with running one’s own agency and being freelance. This includes outreach to clients, running the agency, and tracking all the details alone.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Sackx Studios is a boutique agency that specializes in artist branding, visual identity, fashion styling, and overall creative direction. I especially work with emerging artists, as I love to work with artists who have the natural talent and drive for music. Oftentimes, these artists just need a little extra push to get the ball rolling and get the world to see their talent. I enjoy discussing with my clients, assessing their current stage and where they want to go, from analysis to deliverables. What sets me apart from others is my holistic approach to branding, as well as my multicultural training and experience in the field of creative direction. I am most proud of the music video I concepted, produced, directed, and styled for the Milanese artist, Givlia.

What does success mean to you?
I define success by finding joy in one’s life. Professionally speaking, that means finding joy in my work, which I do! I’m aiming to continue my success by working with more artist clients and expanding my agency.
